I should be applying to jobs, or searching for freelance gigs. Instead, here I am, (almost) binge watching "The Man in the High Castle".

Wtf is wrong with bol.com? For some weird reason, it switched sides. One of the largest, national (Dutch), online resellers, using freedom units?! Not just this one item. I've been seeing it more and more lately.

Where have all the recruiters gone to? They used to spam me on a daily basis, but now that I'm actively searching, it's complete radio silence? 🫤 Not a single soul in my LinkedIn inbox.

Today, five years of collaboration have come to an end. There's something strangely anticlimactic about the final goodbye being a Zoom call followed by closing your laptop. No walking out the door for the last time. No last coffee, or a hand shake. Just… offline.

I wish we could give Chat read-only access to our email. I need it to be able to read email, maybe even draft responses, but NOT send it, or change any of my settings.

Last post is from Nov 12, 2025. But today, i've wired Obsidian to my blog. So I can publish from my phone now. Still no clue what I should be writing about though 😂

My oven has a delayed start function. Together with the temp probe, I can set it so dinner is done at a requested time. Which makes me wonder... Why can't my oven cool as well? Then I could prep in the morning, or even the night before.

"if you are on a trial Pro plan, you agree that we may use and share your content with third parties for developing and improving their products" Let that sink in. Your source code isn't yours, it's licensed to Vercel and all third parties they seem fit.

Look mom! Another reason to stop using Vercel. vercel.com/legal/terms#... (Is this even legal?)

When you write a reply, and don't know how to spell the person's name, just fucking copy/paste it. SO FUCKING ANNOYING, when companies keep writing my name with an F (stefan), even after several back and forth. At that point, I'm convinced they're doing it on purpose, to show disrespect.

Coffee really is my fucking drugs. Drank coffee two mornings in a row in Barcelona last week, and now I'm feeling tired and hooked again.

"The U.S. Treasury on Thursday granted waivers for companies to start buying sanctioned Russian oil" I should really stay off the news. For my own sake.

Please note that Chrome pushed an update, and YOUR DEV CONSOLE (history) MAY BE READ BY HUMAN REVIEWERS. Sure, console should never be treated as a secure env, but I still fucking hate this.

Thanks OpenAI. Because you're buying all the fucking hardware humans can produce, my Hetzner bill increases by 30%. Seriously, this fucking AI bubble can't pop soon enough.

The bigger part of the web should just be served as plain markdown, which the consumer can style to their preference.

seems this wasn't so unpopular, so I'll add: HTML email was a mistaken and should be banned bsky.app/profile/dbus...

"Don't want to give AI agents #### access?" The scary thing is, I don't know what they have access to. I'm pretty sure they can access everything, and all that stops them from running `rm -rf ~`, is trust that it "understands" it shouldn't be doing that.

Selling furniture sucks. Put a leather couch on market place, 4 year old, new price 4500 euro, first offer: 5 euro 🤦‍♂️ Got insane offers to teak wooden furniture too. For that amount, I'll get more fun out of burning it all.

The scary part about this, is that if they're dead, you'll loose all your design assets.

Figma’s stock performance is a tragedy because there hasn’t been any major bad news about the company. Investors believe AI is going to eat the lunch of SAAS products and their customer base is shrinking as companies eschew human designers for AI tools (e.g recent layoffs at Pinterest).
