Please let this be real…please let this be real…please let this be real! I really want Adelita Grijalva (D-AZ) sworn into office, but I also want the Grindr release, if it’s real. If Grindr guy isn’t a troll, may we have both?
Eric Adams is out of the NYC mayoral race. After posturing from Adams & the remaining candidates, polls still have Mamdani winning with Adams’ candidacy over. “When pollsters asked likely voters for their preferences in a race without Adams, Mamdani still led Cuomo by a double-digit margin.”
Economic boycotts are one of the best tools the people can use to protest the authoritarian regime & companies willing to go along with their unconstitutional behavior. Disney didn’t pay attention to Target’s loss of $12.4 billion due to economic boycotts.
Disney didn’t just incur a $3.8 billion loss overnight. If the boycott continues, it could escalate to over $20 billion. This is how you combat fascism.
My money is on Newsom’s account referencing Gov Newsom signing into law California’s ban on ICE agents wearing masks. When written & posted the way Felon47 writes & posts, his sycophants in office have aneurysms & tell daddy’s investigators.
Their hypocrisy is endless. The double standard of what qualifies as a threat, what is dangerous rhetoric, and what is appropriate is disgusting. We have seen them joke endlessly about our public officials brazenly, and it was never okay. This is not that. This is just censorship. #Pinks
In Congress, Republicans are getting a crash course in grammar from Democrats and learning what “pronouns” really mean. Your tax dollars hard at work…🤦🏻♀️
Since “antifa” isn’t an organization, rather an ideology, declaring this so-called group a terrorist organization is going to be abused to attack anyone who speaks out against the fascist regime. Some will be scared to stand up against authoritarianism. How this gets enforced will be shocking.
“…comedy doesn’t change the world, but it’s a bellwether. We’re the banana peel in the coal mine. When a society is under threat, comedians are the ones who get sent away first. It’s just a reminder to people that democracy is under threat…” -Jon Stewart
🚨October 18th’s No Kings protest needs to be the largest countrywide protest we have ever seen. We have one month to organize locally, spread the word, make arrangements to attend the closest protest near you. If everyone who attends brings a friend, we can make this a landmark protest.
We live in both the stupidest and scariest times.
Trump just designated “Antifa” as a terrorist organization, on par with ISIS and Al Qaeda. As a reminder, “antifa” is short for “antifascist”. They will use this lie to surveil, imprison, and kill Americans on the left. This may be our Reichstag Fire moment. Wake up. www.cnn.com/2025/09/17/p...
“The notion that tyranny requires great effort — because there are many more of us. Because our small acts of defiance and resistance and our demands for freedom cannot be ignored.” -Robert Reich
Just add a string of curse words here…the gestapo doesn’t want lawmakers to see what they are doing.
DHS just zip-tied & arrested Brad Lander & 10 Democratic lawmakers for demanding oversight of ICE’s black-site conditions at 26 Federal Plaza NYC. While the regime continues using deflection tactics, we can’t forget about their attacks on immigrants & due process. Stay angry and speak out!
We can’t depend on politicians to protect our constitutional rights. I hope more will do the work beyond strongly worded letters & expressing concern. It requires everyone to do what is required to protect our fundamental rights. Grass roots organizing needs to expand bc many are unsure what to do.
Rep. Jason Crow: " Every American—Democrat, Republican, and independent—must stand up in this moment to say 'No!" We will fiercely defend and carry forward the torch of Americans who have fought and defend free speech. We will not allow us to lose it on our watch."
At this point, we have to assume the 1st amendment is not recognized by the regime. It doesn’t mean you roll over and accept what the regime is doing. It means you proceed knowing the cost and willingly do so because it’s the right thing to do.
NBC: Do you think it's appropriate for Brendan Carr to threaten companies if they didn't take action? JOHN THUNE: *walks away*

This whole former CDC director senate hearing has been dystopian… How do we as a country stop this train barreling down a decline prepared to go off the tracks?
KAINE: Were you instructed by the secretary of HHS to not speak to senators? MONAREZ: I was instructed to not speak directly to senators KAINE: So Senate-confirmed CDC director instructed not to speak to senators
Watch the House Judiciary Committee hearing with Kash Patel. It’s been combative…
This breaks my heart. Here’s the real-world harm of what has happened to one family whose mother was detained while at her immigration check in. She and her daughter (who sounds like a typical American young woman) were deported. Two months later, her mother has died. Fuck this administration.
PS: if you can’t sleep tonight, check out Kash Patel’s Senate hearing from earlier today. The Democratic senators were spectacular in calling out all of Patel’s BS, catching him in lies, & eviscerating everything he’s done in his short tenure as FBI director. I love these types of hearings!
I’ll chime in. I had to attend a work seminar held at the Redford Conference Center—an environmentally-friendly 3500 sq ft building in the Utah mountains. It’s a beautiful example of how you can build something without impacting the environment. It was amazing working ensconced in nature. Peaceful.
Would be great if there was a famous actor who wanted to elevate important political stories right now. RIP Robert Redford
I agree with Just Jack that fascism is already here. Sadly, we are merely at the beginning and haven’t even hit the most painful parts. And saying THAT hurts because where we are at now is already extremely painful. We have a blueprint to stop it, but there are not enough people fighting against it.
Free speech censorship Political hit lists Detentions w/o due process Internment camps Military in our streets Corrupted law enforcement Demonization of vulnerable communities Coercion of private institutions MSM amplifying state propaganda We are not barreling towards fascism. We are in it.
It was never really about the price of eggs which got Trump elected. The egg voters merely used it as an excuse to reelect an unfit person who matched their own hatred and bigotry.
It’s a bit disconcerting that grocery prices continue to rise, which disproportionately affects the poor, working class, and families with children, but every time Trump (who has never shopped in one in his life) is asked about it he keeps telling us prices are already way down.
I appreciate this way of remembering Robert Redford’s iconic roles. His environmental activism is what I found most endearing about him. (1936-2025)
If this bill passes, revoking passports will be weaponized against political opponents, people who speak out against the regime, anyone who doesn’t cooperate w the gov regardless if the request is constitutional, or simply posting you don’t like someone. Government is terrorizing its own citizens.
I’m not seeing nearly enough about this. Revoking passports is a whole separate level of terrorism on the part of this shit admin.
State terrorism charges dropped for Luigi Mangione as they don’t meet the legal requirement, murder charge stays, and trial set for Dec 1st. He still has federal charges to face.
Trump’s rant and NYT’s defamation lawsuit has no teeth. In his own filing he shows he suffered no harm as he won the election. More importantly, we will be here for a bit if we are going to list all the times newspapers made an editorial decision to endorse a candidate. That pesky 1st amendment…🙄
Donald Trump sues the New York Times (and Susanne Craig, Russ Buettner, and Michael S. Schmidt) for defamation, and the complaint for some reason begins thus: storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...
‼️Nepal, WOW! Gen Z protested the government, gov shuts down social media, protesters use Discord to organize, then they toppled the gov, PM resigns, new elections held on Discord, voted an interim prime minister (retired Chief Justice Sushila Karki, Nepal’s first woman to hold the office of PM.)
Fox News is pushing Nazis ideology RE homeless people. Nazis categorized homeless as “asocials” & were identified by wearing an inverted black triangle. Homelessness was criminalized, raids started in 1933, eventually police bypassed courts to deport or send these people to concentration camps.
Brian Kilmeade endorses euthanizing homeless people: "Involuntary lethal injection, or something. Just kill them."
It’s Government Shutdown Groundhog Day! Congress already missed all the budget bill deadlines, and now we are back to waiting on the adults in the room to actually do their jobs in a bipartisan effort to keep the government open. Stock up on wine or beer, it’s going to be messy.
I’m still trying to wrap my head around Fuentes’ group pushing Kirk was a moderate Republican. The political ideology definitions have drastically changed, thus skewing the political spectrum scale.
Fuentes is not going to come out of this situation clean, and he knows it actual consequence of this shooting might be the full ostracization of the most extreme parts of the MAGA world, out in the weeds again after years inside
And herein lies the problem with the swathes of disinformation immediately following the Kirk incident leading to major right-wing social media accounts & political figures calling for retribution against Democrats. Nothing is known abt the shooter, but MAGA is ready to “go to war” against liberals.
Without knowing the identity of the shooter, their politics, or what motivated them, far-right influencers are using increasingly disturbing rhetoric and launching into preparations for a battle against liberals. trib.al/d3CMo8I
If anyone is expecting the CURRENT president to lower the temperature and soften the political rhetoric, they will be waiting for quite some time. It will never happen. He acts as if empathy is a weakness and shouldn’t be part of leadership.
The president had a chance to be a leader. To console the nation. To lower the temperature. Nope. He can’t do it.
The Senate continues to debase itself in order to confirm Trump nominees. The upper chamber is absolutely competing with the House for the title of Worst Collection of Politicians in the 21st Century.
#ProudBlue While all the chaos is happening because of Trump’s BS, the Senate is changing rules so they can push through Yam Tit’s nominees despite the push back from Dems. If you have to rewrite the rules to jam these picks through, maybe they’re not qualified to begin with.
The news is hyper focused on one particular act of gun violence today, but there was another school shooting in America today. This time Evergreen, Colorado (a Denver suburb) grieves the unnecessary violence inflicted on their children.
