Usopp's next power up needs to be befriending crows and having them annoy tf out of anyone who tries to attack him I think, he also did not intend for the crows to do that

Funniest part about the Sanji game on the switch is they censor words, and they've censored the word 'Killer', and if you try to look up Killer, the character, it says "no no nooo ☝️🙂‍↔️" So basically Killer has been censored from existence.

can they please add Sanji wanting his own room in grand gourmet and not just a gathering room for everyone it's making me feel too sad and maternal for him where tf is he sleeping every night

this is fr a top ten panel of the arc to me, Zoro way too gleeful and clearly taking pleasure in hurting and scaring a man who would get off on straight up torturing people LMFAOOO

the best part about Cyberpunk S2 is they show Roman being pretty emotionally and logically smart for a little boy, and this is due to the fact he loves films and art and is developing the ability to critically think 🤓☝️

hmm the cast and pacing of Cyberpunk 2 felt much better than S1, I felt a real disconnect due to how much everyone liked the S1 characters when I didn't feel much connection - aside from David and Maine. But I feel the writing team really stepped up for S2 to flesh everyone out

it was super weird cause in the S1 last ep everyone started dying, but I didn't get that emotional hit like most ppl did and it felt like fomo like...am I weird for not crying to this?? I felt SO much for the S2 cast though and everything they all went through 😭

fucking awesome to get confirmation that Sanji didn't realise his life had value in this moment, he just decided he can't die because Luffy needed him. Sanji straight up was simply accepting the cold embrace of death and easily would've if not for thinking Luffy needs him 😭

btw these panels are what made me the most insane when ppl would deny Sanji isn't at the very LEAST passively suicidal, it is literally not normal to just say shit like "I've had a short but rich life oh well" LMAO

*puts my hand on Sanji's shoulder* hey buddy so being like super super okay with your death and believing everyone has more worth than you to the point you're always thinking about dying for them because you think you're a waste of space is called being passively suicidal

Finished watching the second season of Cyberpunk, I personally liked it more than the first season only because it spoke to me more. Episode 8 was a masterpiece.

how many ppl do you think have figured out that the Strawhat's flag, in the story of One Piece, would be classified as a symbol of terrorism due to who runs One Piece's world LOL

Btw, one of the reasons I love the Revolutionary Army is because Dragon originally DID create it to be a passive, peaceful protest group. But, as gov military harshened, and as genocides happened globally, he realised they could no longer be passive and had to become a rebellion.

Mind you Fishman Island was about Jinbe not exactly knowing what the 'correct' solution for Fishman were - but was still a showing that political papers wouldn't be pushed without a form of violent rebellion, and violence wouldn't be stopped until new policies were implemented.

On top of that, Otohime's paper pushing was shown as the more passive and inherently weaker solution on its own that couldn't save struggling Fishmen right away - unlike Fisher Tiger's proactive rebellion. But, you know, food for thought!

When Sanji left the Baratie, Zeff told Sanji to not catch a cold. Aside from that being a very parental thing to say, Zeff said that because he wants Sanji to take care of himself. It's always been shown the way for Sanji to show love back is by caring for himself

It's interesting the discussions around Iva's message, considering Sanji was portrayed as being very defensive and upset when Iva told him the love of the suicidal is worthless. But I do believe it's a hard truth that needs to be said to change one's mindset - since if you think your only value-

stand up and fight for what he wants, Iva is laying it on thick that Sanji NEEDS to change his mindset and he cannot continue the way he is, so his love must come from a value of self. It's difficult to the point Sanji considered it a nightmare.

I do believe, in no way is Iva saying anyone is worthless, but what they are saying is it gets to a point where you NEED to care about yourself if you truly love others. I think it's a powerful message, and it's such a hard truth that Sanji just couldn't bare to think about it.

is the love you can give others due to suicidal ideation, then you're NEVER going to heal from that mindset, are you? I am not one to say if that's insensitive or not, but I do know OP really has a theme of tough love. In the same way Luffy told Koby he hates him when he first met him to make Koby-

I think it's very cool Oda has put both Robin and Sanji's further healing into the Elbaf arc. Robin could show how far she's come to Saul and receive his praise, while Sanji realises self worth is good. Both characters struggling with the concept of existing just to find love 🥹

need Iva and Sanji to meet up again (inevitable) so Iva can see Sanji looking after himself and caring for himself and Iva hugs him and cries MY BOOOOOY MY CANDY BOOOOOY YOU'VE DONE IT YOU'RE HEALING while Sanji's red faced and struggling to get out of Iva's grip like a feral cat

man Sanji's whole life has just been a series of giving himself to someone else over and over again, from Zeff to Luffy to the Strawhats overall - even Judge is part of this although in an incredibly negative way. He rlly can't exist in any other way without being somehow useable

I always had a hc Sanji was an insane workaholic, considering he'd had a very fast paced job ever since he was a kid, and now it seems more realistic than ever. I can only imagine Sanji can't do nothing at any time due to probably getting incredibly anxious and restless

we gotta realise Sanji had been living his whole life with a specific worldview of who he was, who he is and how to function, just for Iva to collapse it all into rubble. Telling someone they need to change the mentality they've had all their lives is earth shattering!!

Sanji discussions are noticeably much more invigorating now that those of us who always guessed it no longer have half the conversation be defending Sanji's lack of self worth and is self sacrificial to the point of having a suicidal ideation. Used to pray for times like these!!!

got no bitch in my ear saying "it's not that deep you're just making him more than he is cause that's what you want him to be" LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Sanji after facing physical and mental familial abuse since the day he was born, leaving everything he knew as a kid, and starving on a rock for two and a half months as a child "but like other people go through things too so what happened to me is like whatever"

telling Sanji he can still recognise what happened to him was horribly traumatising and psychologically damaging without comparing struggles, and understanding that doesn't make him a sad sack that can't acknowledge the struggles of others

no wonder Sanji got so mad in this moment, the food he gave Luffy was messy and gross looking. On top of Luffy reacting like Sora had, cooking is what Sanji believes to be his most valuable asset. He truly just can't understand receiving praise and value even when he's messed up

actually somewhat hilarious you can hold Sanji's face and look him in the eyes and say "I love you" and his stupid ass head will be like "aaahhhh they value my abilities specifically yeesss I must now prove that all the time or they'll hate me obviously"

wait this makes it 1000x more sweeter that Luffy immediately wanted Sanji on his crew because he saw Sanji's heart, Luffy hadn't even tasted Sanji's cooking before deciding he wanted him. Luffy just valued Sanji's person and being the whole time but Sanji's STUPID ASS HEAD 😭

one of my thoughts for Zoro being SO mad at Sanji in Zou is cause Zoro knew how sacrificial Sanji was and, like Thriller Bark, was mad about it - but in Zou he wasn't there to stop it. Ie he's lashing out cause Sanji ran off on a suicide mission without help so Zoro's losing it

kind of happens in Water 7 too when Sanji's on the train and Luffy gives Sanji the go ahead to wreak havoc, but Zoro is totally against it and demands Sanji come back because "there are some very strong guys on that train." And then Sanji asks if Zoro's worried about him LOL
