Pretty sure this wasn't a lie (as in she's was trying to convince people it's true), it was a directive that media should report this way. It's more in line with Hegseth's controlling the media rather than Trump spewing bullshit. She's just an awful messenger. Keep an eye out for more media control.

Here's the thing... everyone knew he was lying then. Everyone knows they're lying now when they say Democrats want to pay for illegal immigrants to have Healthcare. This is an actual distraction from talking about how they'd rather keep the government shutdown than restore Healthcare funding.

It needs to be noted that he speaks this way to get a reaction. No one wants political violence in the US more than this guy. He is an accelerationist and he is trying to light a match. He wants the pretext to fully implement a repressive agenda. Though it seems he'll try to get there either way.

So this is just going to be used as pretense for sending the National Guard to Providence, right? Seems like they're trying to create the conditions for violence in order to rally support for even more draconian measures or even try to cancel elections.

The small positives are 1. It does NOT include Brown University Health and 2. Most of the non-sports stuff only requires accommodation. So trans people won't be forced to go to the bathroom or dorm with the wrong gender. It's still terrible and unnecessarily dehumanizing.

It's like they hate people who aren't rich. Even the smallest improvements that can help keep middle class people from falling into poverty or risking their financial health are overturned.
