The Darkness let you rip someone's heart out with a demon tentacle and also had one of the most understated emotional side stories in gaming. Wild combo. Such an underrated masterpiece.

Enchanted Arms is one of those JRPGs nobody remembers exists (me included), but when it pops into my head I always want to replay it. It's FromSoftware btw.

Digital Devil Sagaโ€™s battle theme is a heavy metal masterpiece that makes turning into a demon and ripping through a squad of enemies feel too good.

Walking around Iwatodai at night under the moonlight while Lotus Juice raps over a smooth lo-fi track is peak atmosphere. You just want to live in that world forever.

Parasite Eveโ€™s synth-heavy OST combined with snow-covered 90s Manhattan is a vibe so specific and immaculate that nothing has ever successfully replicated it.

Chris Redfield punching a literal 15-ton boulder into active volcanic lava with his bare hands just so he can shoot a guy in sunglasses with a rocket launcher is peak cinema

13 Sentinels tells its story completely out of order and trusts you to hold the pieces until they connect. Rare to see a game respect the player's memory that much.

Isaac Clarke being an underpaid engineer sent to fix a comms dish who instead ends up stomping alien corpses into mush with heavy work boots. The union rep is losing their mind
