What Australia have done here is the difference between a team with a winning mentality, and England. If England had bowling at a side that was 140/0 in 27.0 overs, 192/1 in 40.0 overs, heads would have dropped, they'd have probably started bowling halfway down, put everyone on the boundary

The way he attacks Israeli-Arabs highlights the challenge of democracy vs demography. There's 2m Palestinians in Gaza. 2m Israeli-Arabs, 3m Palestinians in the West Bank. There's around 7.2 million Israeli Jews. Between the river and the sea, it's roughly equal.

Netanyahu, or whoever is prime minister, has a big decision to make. What is more important, maintaining Israel's democratic character? Or maintaining Israel's Jewish majority? The insistence that the two state solution is dead, could really railroad one of these two things.

Would love to know Scott Boland's thoughts. When Lyon was left out in the Ashes he said he was 'filthy' as if he had some right to be picked.. Boland at the moment has a much stronger claim really.

No Smith, Cam Green coming back with no form, Connolly.. never had a First Class ton (as good a player as I'm sure he is).. and dropping Boland after his heroics in the last Test. Inglis is fairly solid. This is one of the weakest Aussie sides on paper, at least batting wise, for a while.
