The Bayonne Drydock is vital to our national security and a powerful economic driver for Bayonne and beyond. Proud to help secure nearly $700,000 in federal funding to support local jobs and upgrade equipment. I’ll keep fighting for our maritime industry and the workers who keep it strong.
No one should face intimidation when casting their ballot. That’s why I joined Senator Kim and our New Jersey Democratic colleagues to demand clear assurances that voters will be protected and our elections will be free from federal interference.
Today is the first day of early voting in New Jersey. That’s why I’m taking action to ensure our elections remain free from federal interference. In a democracy, voters choose their leaders, not the other way around.

This is voter intimidation. Under the Trump Administration, people are afraid to go to work, send their children to school, travel—and now, exercise their most fundamental democratic right: voting.
As energy bills skyrocket, no family should have to choose between keeping the lights on and paying for food or childcare. That’s why I teamed up with Rep. Pappas to push for expanded heating and cooling assistance through LIHEAP.
LIHEAP is a lifeline for many, but the program is woefully underfunded. Adjusting for inflation, if LIHEAP were funded at the same level as it was 45 years ago, the program would have received nearly $7 billion in FY27. I’m leading a bipartisan call to increase funding for this essential program.
I stand with @congressmanraja.bsky.social. We are grateful that the horrific plot targeting a Hindu temple was foiled, but we cannot ignore the hate threatening our neighbors.
I led 105 lawmakers in demanding the FBI investigate the attempted mass shooting at my family’s Hindu temple in Aurora as a potential hate crime. We must confront the rising tide of anti-Indian hate and the online threats putting our communities at risk.
I stand with our North Bergen students and every neighbor enduring the fear and trauma caused by the Trump Administration’s actions. I hear your pain, and I want you to know: you are not alone in this fight. We will never stop fighting to protect our communities and the soul of our nation.

Our South Asian neighbors are an essential part of our communities and make our country stronger. Divisive rhetoric fuels hate and endangers lives. We are grateful that the horrific plot targeting a Hindu temple was foiled, but we must confront the hatred that puts our neighbors at risk.
My family and I were worshipping at our Hindu temple in Aurora on Sunday when a white supremacist attempted a mass shooting targeting Indian Americans. I'm grateful to those who prevented a tragedy, but we must all come together to confront the hatred that put so many innocent lives at risk.
