No stream today. I’ve been trying to focus on work to avoid the pain of losing my cat and I’ve gotten a touch burned out. My energy wasn’t where I wanted it to be yesterday. I just need some rest. I’ll be back on Tuesday 🦕

My childhood cat Mittens peacefully passed away this evening, curled up on my dad’s lap, surrounded by family. He wasn’t quite 14. Mittens was a simply phenomenal cat. He loved people and was friendly even to total strangers. He slept on my bed every night. We’ll miss him dearly.

I just made an awesome discovery that I simply have to share. If OBS (or any video writing software) crashes while recording a video file and gives you a glitchy final mp4 afterwards, there’s a neat little program on untrunc.com which can fix the file in seconds. It’s dino magic! 🦖 #notsponsored

A new cartridge touches the beacon! It’s Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs, the third in the series. If only the original would show up, so we could start the Ranger series properly :/

Claude fun fact: Claude actually serves a purpose even while I’m not streaming (besides being cute and plotting world domination, anyway). He sits right here on my second monitor and blocks a really bright blinking light that would otherwise bug me while I’m trying to sleep.

Fossil Fighters 125% is live until 9:30 PM PDT! Last time I discovered a promising new tactic for dealing with hard fossils like Stego and Giganto. Here’s hoping we finally get results! And we’ll do some hunting too. twitch.tv/mepqueen Plesio art by aquariumaster on Instagram! Go check them out!

Dinosaur King arrived! This is the final DS game I could find with mechanics anywhere near fossil cleaning in Fossil Fighters. We’ll try it out someday.

I need to cancel stream today. Part of it is I’m really behind on VODs and this is still a one-woman show. Part of it is Mittens is very sick and I’m worried sick myself. I just need a little more time to deal with real life. See you all on Thursday 💚

Fossil Fighters 125% is live until 9:30 PM PDT! Giganto remains unfinished, and now other hard fossils are joining the party. We’ll do some red hunting to break up the grind sessions. Progress is inevitable if we persevere. twitch.tv/mepqueen Stego art by @aquajay3.bsky.social! Go check them out!

Spectrobes has joined the collection! It’s a game with a fossil-cleaning mechanic very similar to Fossil Fighters, including potential for a challenging 100% run. We’ll check it out someday! I’m also looking into Gemporium. It might be a small enough game that I could stream it on my tiny laptop…

Fossil Fighters 125% is live until 9:30 PM PDT! There’s just one more red to find in outdoor Rivet Ravine. And if we can get Giganto Head perfect, it’ll be the first video of the feat! Who’s ready to make history? twitch.tv/mepqueen Alectro art by @captainmvf.bsky.social! Go check them out!
