Remember holidaying in Penang Malaysia awhile ago. The brown smoke haze from Indonesian forest fires was a constant. Apparently it had been going on continually for years. Visited Indonesia Island Makassar last Christmas. What struck me was the near total absence of any wildlife whatsoever.
