I love my #Broncos... But the answer to why our offense sucks so hard this year is right fucking here in the pictures.

I think what happened is that she got into office and betrayed every voter and every person who had hope, and keeps getting re-elected when her own vetting should've been better. It would be funnier if this was a satire instead of real life where real people are really dead.

Susan Collins: "I think what happened is far too many ICE officers were hired and deployed without adequate vetting and training"

I can see why many folks would not like it. However... This movie was made for me and I give it 10/10 because I love this surreal shit. They put so much into it, and it looked destined to fail. It also had echos, to me, of things like Dr. Strangelove and History of the World but played straight.

Why is getting a medical scan so anxiety inducing the day before? Is it that it's a Friday and so I shall not learn the results until next week?

You mean like the 1-2% election that saw Kamala Harris run to the center explicitly to get that imaginary "1-2%" 'Centrist' voters and managed to lose the Popular Vote as a Dem for the first time since John Kerry?

Toby Buckle@polphilpod.bsky.social

"if the left is that critical, just give us what we want. can't have it both ways" the thing is, in these 1-2% elections, any number of groups can shake down the coaltion like that—the party can't fully satisfy all of them at the same time

🪶Today is International Vulture Awareness Day! Vultures don’t conform to typical societal beauty standards. I think we need to look beyond outward appearances. Better yet, why not embrace what makes us unique? #internationalvultureawarenessday #birdart #vultures

6 weeks ago an ER visit for lung issues that kicked it off a constant breathing problem, and now I've got an upper respiratory tract infection. Fuck's sake. I just want some sleep.

Oh. Y'all is a controversy now? Y'all'd've been better off not opening the beast. You'd've kept the peace. Y'all'dn't've'd this trouble if y'all'd've just let it lie. But no, somebody had to go making a stink. Now here we all are, and y'all'll be dealing with the fallout.

So I'm looking into making my own ozone filter. Activated carbon can work but it only absorbs it. I'm going to buy a big ol cube that is made of manganese dioxide and see if I can't turn my bedroom into a lower ozone zone. It appears my lungs have betrayed me, and O3 is the cause. Now to catalyze.

For about 50 bucks (plus shipping) I can get a 100x100x100mm cube, 23.25 holes per square centimeter. Then add a housing that's slightly larger, and then two 120mm computer fans, and a filter, I think I can get this to work for under $120. This would convert the O3 to O2 safely.

Now with that setup I think I can get close to 2 full air changes an hour. For how bad Ozone has been in Denver I'm aiming to reduce Ozone by about half indoors with windows shut and all. It should help me breathe better and help my birds. I need to keep my little birbs safe.

"Weeks after the incident on 15 July, Bossier Parish officials unanimously approved a proposal for one of the country’s strictest bathroom ordinances against trans people." Well to hell with Bossier Parish and the people who voted for this bullshit. I hope nothing but insolvency for them.

One thing I'll miss about summer is the light, the smell of the fresh rain upon the baked dirt. That feeling of soft dirt that collects at the corners from breezes before you swish it away. I will miss the proper heat, so brief now, replaced by the dome heat that feels wrong. I will miss the sky.

I know too much and with that comes the knowledge that I know very little. At least the small spiders are good, the brown leaves of fall make pleasing sounds, and the screams of the dying planet are hard to hear when my ears thrum from anxiety. The fall is coming, and so is autumn. And depression.

I have recently found I can have extremely low lactose cheese. Which is better than no cheese. I successfully ate a Swiss cheese sandwich. I don't really like swiss. I was never honestly a fan. But after 2 years of avoiding all cheese? Oh my god it was delightful.

Most annoying thing any shopping platform can do is email you after you browsed and looked at something. "Forgot something you meant to purchase? You didn't put it in your caaaart" From the top of Mount fuckoff go fuck yourself store. Now I'll never buy it from you, store. I will buy elsewhere.

You come in MY HOUSE!? YOU BETTER COME HEAVY! I WILL END YOU! I WILL DESTROY YOU! I WILL HAVE NO MERCY AND NO REASON TO HOLD BACK! HAVE AT THEE! They fly on my head (just before disaster): Bzzzzt
