I used to have a dumb YouTube show about sports movies. From Massachusetts, living in Minnesota. Husband. Father to Logan, Jack and Penelope (Both forever in our hearts)

I'm on the road, moving to Texas. Currently in a hotel in northern Missouri, watching Sunday night football. You guys. The political ads are AMAZING.

The Republicans know they're in trouble and are taking the "Democrats are pedo protectors!" angle and the Dem ads are like "lol nope you won't release the Epstine Files."

I guess it's time to let you all know. Later this month, we will be moving to my wife's home state of Texas. It's the right thing to do for our family right now.

What's so ridiculous about this is that Polymarket could very easily afford to pay a real artist, and instead they use AI to create an image that, if a real artist turned this in, you would tell them it's crap and come back when you've got something I can use.

Dolphins. Famous for their horns.

Today is going to be a tough day. It would've been Penelope’s first birthday. We should be having a party with family and friends, laughing and smiling while she gets messy eating cake for the first time. Instead, all we can do is wonder "what if" and continue to grieve our beautiful daughter.

I'm in a rutt. Ever since we relocated to Rochester last year, I've been working at a branch that is so much smaller and slower than my old branch. At my old branch the customers would come to me pretty readily. Loans, account openings, it all came to me steadily.

But my boss doesn't see it that way. I'm tired of his motivational morning meetings. Tired of him not giving me the space to do things my way. And of course none of this is helped by the fact that I'm still learning to cope with an unimaginable loss.

I've interviewed for new positions in the company. Nothing. I've interviewed for jobs outside the company. Nothing. I feel like I can't catch a break, and I don't know what to do anymore.

Now I have to go looking for the opportunities, and I'm just not finding them. And my new manager just doesn't get it. He's been on me constantly about getting my numbers up. It's easy for him, he's a very outgoing guy, and he knows just about everyone in that little town.

But I'm much more introverted. I need an environment where the action comes to me. When people come to me to open an account or get a loan, I'm ready to go. But this town (not Rochester, a nearby small town) is just so sleepy. We'll be lucky if the bank even keeps this branch.

Well. Our old townhouse was on the market for 6 months, and we didn't get a single offer. We can't afford to pay the mortgage on top of our rent any longer. So it looks like we'll have to foreclose.

Also, after repeated viewings of this short, my YouTube algorithm is now constantly suggesting old bowling videos to the point where I niw think I'd actually like to take up bowling! 😅

Lindsey Graham, from a state with a Republican governor: We're informed right away when he dies. Mitch McConnell, from a state with a Democrat governor: Silence. Mitch is dead. They just don't want a Democrat to fill his vacancy.

Seeing the Scots having the time of their lives in Boston and Bostonians in turn enjoying the hell out of having them there fills me with such joy. It also makes me sad that I couldn't be there to be part of it all.

No city is having as much fun as Boston with the Scottish Tartan Army. We can't thank you enough for the joy you brought to the city. Scots are great people. You all should be so proud of the positive impact you’ve made upon Boston. Note: Next time more 🍻 Cheers! Come again.

As for the movie, I liked it enough. Now that I'm a parent, I definitely relate to the worries Bonnie's parents have about her making friends and getting too much screne time. But seriously, why do all the humans in Toy Story have NO peripheral vision?!

The fact that my wife, the most nurturing person I've ever met, has lost two of her three babies is the single most unfair thing the universe has ever done to a single person. No one deserves it, but especially not her.
