this is who i think i am

Just in case you forgot or thought I did…I love you.

Asking me to not love her is like asking me to commit an act of violence against my own heart.

The journey of love

The wave of loneliness and sadness that hit me out in public today truly caught me off guard. I felt my eyes swelling up and my legs almost buckling.

Ever since I met her, my life changed. Every time I meet her, my life changes.

I can’t even imagine a life without her… And yet, here I am.

In my dreams last night, it all worked out.

It’s just so easy with her

For a while now, whenever I see generosity or love and kindness, I get so emotional. That’s my Mommy, right? She is showing up and reminding me…

It’s just different in every way something can be good.

I’ll be thinking of her on her big day

Moving at light speed while sinking in quicksand

Who’s to say?

Hello 3:37am, my dear friend

I’ll stare at the scene and just think to myself, “Yea, it’d be better with her.”

I often catch myself smiling at how blessed anyone is who gets to spend any of this life with her

Another long walk for my mind to race and my heart to reach…

I love how no one gets it. My heart does. I do.

Her ways are poetry

Morning laughter and afternoon memories

My heart just loves dancing to her music

I’ll love my way through it

She lights up my world so much, I forget about the sun

I just want forever to be our moment in time

The day begins with the gift of her in my heart

She is everything I want and all I want

My heart continues to push and pull me to her…

No classes today. First professional services day as a full-time assistant professor.

When distance is not just about space…

She can make time stop with a look

I miss watching her look at the world

The energy I spend holding back from loving her…it’s so taxing.
