How insane is it that we have essentially a junkyard operating right in the middle of downtown for years now? I'm sure other lots downtown have abandoned cars in them too but this one is especially abominable.

Car brain is preferring to spend thousands of your own dollars on technology in your car to have a robotized driver instead of spending $2.50 on a bus fare that includes someone to drive the bus for you.

This is still likely an underestimation. There are car expenses that usually never get accounted for in these sum-ups of expenses, like depreciation, car washes, parking/valet, cost of a collision, detailing, subscriptions, accessories (e.g. if you have a baby you have to buy a car seat), etc.

🚨PSA🚨 These new electric horns ebikes and escooters have are not only awful noise, they're ineffective. Twice now I've seen them get used and get ignored by whoever was stepping into the bike lane. The bike bell has existed for generations and everyone knows what that sound means. Just use a bell!
