@admiralbuck.bsky.social I want to say thank you for the inspiration. While not quite done, I’ve built a large scale, lit Enterprise. It’s 4’ 6” long, so big enough that the Arduino controller is inside of it. Your fantastic work really got me thinking about building this model.

@lentesta.bsky.social thanks for the shout out in the intro of this week’s @disneydish.bsky.social podcast! You should know that the first rule of the Mimes of Diagon Alley is that we don’t talk about being mimes on Diagon Alley! ;)
@lentesta.bsky.social thanks for answering my question about Photo Pass on this week’s Disney Dish! It was interesting to see random Extra Magic photos appear on the app. Most of the images that the photographers took showed up instantaneously, but not those.
“I've been to the edge And then I stood and looked down You know I lost a lot of friends there, baby I've got no time to mess around” - Van Halen @lentesta.bsky.social spotter this art in the cafeteria at Art of Animation and this VH lyric immediately popped into mind

I grew up reading everything I could about Project Apollo. But I lived through the Shuttle program. #16Sunsets by the original #13MinutestotheMoon team: @andrewl-b.bsky.social, @scirad.bsky.social + @davejgiles.bsky.social & @richardcourtice.bsky.social podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/1...
Here primed to see @markhamillofficial.bsky.social Tom Hiddleston, Karen Gillian, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Mia Sara and a loaded cast for Life of Chuck. I think this is going to be great! @stephenking.bsky.social
My Aptera was delivered today! Well, the 1/18 scale model of the Aptera for my desk arrived today. One can dream, right? Still hopeful to see a real one in the garage. @aptera.bsky.social
@beckisaid.bsky.social I think I spy someone on the safety video!
Ended up at our towns St Patrick’s Day car show. Nice day for it. I also got my vaccines! Flu, COVID and tetanus. Cool that they had a group here doing that here.
What’s your joy for this weekend? I took next week off. I think I may go for a drive and work on my Mustang this weekend. I intend to sleep in. We have a day at Epcot on Wednesday for beverages around the world.
For the space fans out there this is a great podcast. Mr White did a great job talking the practical aspects of working on the shuttles thermal protection system. Normal people doing extraordinary work. #16sunsets.
Met Terry White in 2011, at the OPF on the last day of the last space shuttle mission. A joy to catch up with him again for this episode of #16Sunsets, to ask him about the difficult road to the launch of the first mission, Columbia, on STS-1. Have a listen podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/1...
With the help of my dad I found the location of the track! 13 miles east of Bismarck off of Apple Creek Rd.
I’ve loved aviation and motorsports since I was a little kid. As I got older I found out my grandfather owned a racetrack in North Dakota and had a small plane. He passed when I was little, so I never had an opportunity to talk with him about those interests. In the third pic you can see a B-36.
