I had a great time talking about #Foundry Prompt and Hosted Agents tonight at the Western Michigan #Azure user group. The session will be posted to the group’s YouTube channel soon. #mvpbuzz

Does the GitHub Copilot CLI (v1.0.80) support Agent Plugins 1.0 and Copilot-specific extensions? I've tried putting an "agents", "instructions" and "hooks" folder under the "com.github.copilot" folder, but I never them in the CLI. Skill and MCP server OK. #GitHubCopilot

Spent a few hours today iterating on ideas to improve a demo for an upcoming user group talk, only to come back to a slight variation of where I started. Should have just listened to myself. 🤪

I love being able to contribute to the Microsoft docs. I noticed a small error in a page related to Microsoft Foundry’s Claude model support. Opened the PR and it was approved and merged the next day. ✅

I'm looking forward to my first trip to #BeerCityCode this week. I'll be co-leading a GitHub Copilot & Claude Code workshop on Friday and then a session on durable agentic workflows on Saturday morning.

Are Azure Connector Namespaces and related connections only available to work accounts? I’m unable to log into the Connector portal using a personal account. Works if I use my work account. #Azure

Used my work account to get an #Azure Function Serverless Agent working. Pretty cool. The setup is a bit rough but that’s mostly the connectors. It’s got potential for sure!

Tonight I scored my best 9 holes of golf in probably ever. I’m super thrilled with the round. I hope I can keep it up. I’m very thankful for my coach, Justin K. at The Ridge for helping me with my swing.

If not using Docker Desktop, what Docker CLI compliant tool are you using? I've been using Rancher Desktop, but am looking into alternatives. It must support VS Code dev containers. Preference for support for working in WSL2 and also #Aspire. #docker #rancher #podman

Great time on Wednesday evening at the Michigan .NET User Group speaking about Microsoft Agent Framework and Foundry Hosted Agents. Thanks for having me! #MicrosoftFoundry #AgentFramework

Trying to follow simple example for #AgentFramework and #Foundry Hosted Agent. Running local and get this error: "The registered HostedSessionIsolationKeyProvider returned null for the current request.

Ensure the Foundry platform is providing the x-agent-user-isolation-key and x-agent-chat-isolation-key headers, or register a custom provider that supplies fallback values for local development." Why? Suggestions?

One of the biggest themes from Microsoft Build 2026: we're moving from "How do I use AI?" to "How do I effectively supervise AI agents?" That idea surfaced in sessions, labs, and conversations throughout the event. My Day 2 recap: www.michaelscollier.com/microsoft-b... #MicrosoftBuild

michaelscollier.comMicrosoft Build 2026 - Day 2Microsoft Build is a two-day event this year (after being three days in prior years). That’s in line with the overall smaller Build - fewer attendees, smaller venue, and fewer days. There was …

Is there a way to get MS SQL running on a ARM64 machine such as the Surface Laptop? I'm trying to get Aspire to use the Service Bus emulator, but seemingly running into a problem with SB emulator needing SQL, and SQL being x86_64 only. #Aspire
