The contribution limit for an individual is $3,500. Elon Musk, a government contractor, is trying to purchase Congress. Billionaires are smothering our elections for their personal gain. Get big money out of politics.

Oh everything's so convenient now with the internet. To make a dr appt you have to create a patient portal. Pay a bill, download an app. Cancel a service - oops no you can't do that online you have to call us. So when I want to talk to a human I can't and when I don't I must. 🤬

This man thinks he can buy the American people with a measly $5k? He and his billionaire bros are trying to drag us all to hell. If he's asking us to throw away this country's future, at the very least he needs to make us all millionaires on the way out.

The first part of that is actually capitalism and the second part has nothing to do with economics but he knows that.

Q: How do you define socialism personally? JD VANCE: I think in reality what it actually means in the American context is you want to replace American workers with foreigners workers, and you want boys to play in girls' sports

Dear algorithm, I don't need to see any celebrity updates unless it's related to them actively defending our democracy and publicly making statements against what the current administration is working to destroy.

I hate the folding doors in this house. Every damn closet has them. Tonight the one in the hallway gave me a final eff you after years of struggle. The door has fallen off the destroyed track and I just don't have the will left to fight with the house demons so open air closet it is. FML

If some entrepreneur is out there looking for the next great business idea, here's a freebie for you. A store that only sells "dumb" appliances because pretty much no one wants a dishwasher or fridge acting as a peeping tom in their own homes. Extra freebie: same goes with automobiles.

The powers that be want to reverse the progress of the people over the last couple centuries while simultaneously propelling us into a future where humans are no longer necessary. It's all very dystopian but very on brand for humans.

With all the terrible things happening under this administration, I keep thinking about people like Marco Rubio whose only interest is power and how that is more important to him than destroying absolutely everything. Long term pain for short term gain seems like an awful legacy to leave behind.

Why is this administration so G-D evil? Seriously!!

The Bureau of Land Management is rounding up thousands of mustangs around the U.S. and quietly selling them on the cheap to buyers who are exporting them for slaughter abroad, an examination of government records by The New York Times found. nyti.ms/4grb8Co

All those establishment Dems ringing the alarm bells that DSA candidates can't win against Rep candidates, you know that saying about the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result? The people are speaking up with their votes and y'all better listen.

It's clear that a majority of our elected representatives lack the resolve to actually represent the people because they have no skin in that game. Unless more "boots on the ground" candidates run for office, the interests of the capitalist elite will take precedence over society as a whole.

So let me understand this: the 2016 and 2024 elections were okey dokey, but the 2020 election was stolen, even though he was the one in power during that time. How does that make any sense? The loss of that one election has him so broken he's bent on revenge touring the entire country over his ego.

Hey Democratic elected officials, did you know you can just not say anything? Silence is golden, especially if you're currently running for something. I'm not in PR but I feel like this is common sense. At this point it kinda feels like y'all just enjoy losing.

Seeing a lot of posts about the 78 degree AC setting so I will throw my hat into the discussion. I live in FL, have always "run hot" and am on the menopause track. I have always kept my AC around 77 degrees and am comfortable. Strategically placed fans and dark curtains help to keep the heat out.

Bought these reflective insulation sheets for my back sliding doors last year and that helps keep some heat out as well. I hate the heat btw and understand why some would think 78 is unbearable but I've lived without AC in the past so 78 is a luxury to me.
