I made this 9 years ago and it is more relevant than ever. God = Love Using the bible as a weapon. Size: 70 x 50 cm Medium: Acrylic Technique: Screen Print Year: 2016 Made in: Barcelona, ES #holybible #screenprint #religion #war #holywar #printmaking #bible #itsacult #cult #art #artist

“When will it be the last one?” Sixty-seven moves in our lives. Moving has become an unavoidable theme in my work, because it both enriches you and slowly pulls you apart. Each relocation leaves something behind, while adding another layer to whom you become.

Handmade paper made from old cotton rags, drying on celluloid, a moment that feels quietly poetic. These sheets are becoming the source for a small biographical piece I’m planning, carrying traces of past lives, worn, washed, and transformed.

Embroidery on handmade paper Or is it still paper? Or already textile? Mostly fibres, somewhere in between, a material that resists definition, and perhaps that’s exactly the point #handmadepaper #cottonrags #textileorpaper #materialresearch #embroideryonpaper #slowmaking #processdriven #textileart

Graphite & Gold I’m drawn to rhythm and structure, but just as much to chaos, the two are inseparable. In my work, I almost always begin with structure, simply to see where chaos decides to appear.

In this piece, I couldn’t find it. The graphite and the gold are so complementary that they settle into a steady rhythm, becoming a kind of visual poetry. The urge to smear, disturb, and break it is definitely there, but for once, I’ll let it be. #art

The Wounded Home. A small work born from the quiet violence of moving house, something I’ve done too many times to count. Each move leaves a mark. A wound. And from that wound, a scar forms, a memory. #artandmemory #textileandpaper #mixedmediaart #slowart #handmadepaper #artiststatement

Trying to find peace and calm amid the current state of the world. Sometimes I feel it might be best to stop reading the news altogether, retreat into a kind of oblivion, and spend my days simply creating art. #innerpeace #artist #designer #humancondition #fucktrump #portrait #soon #brighton #uk

Refusing to go dark. Linen on cotton, stitched with vintage yarn, soft, worn, carrying time in every thread. A circle that holds its ground, a horizon that stays light. #research #textileart #fiberart #slowmaking #handstitched #contemporarytextiles #softsculpture #minimalart

After periods in photography, painting, silver, paper, and most recently my porcelain period, I’m officially stepping into my textile period. I’ve always loved exploring materials and forms, so I’m genuinely excited about this next chapter.

Textile, fibre, and the more experimental side of fashion have always been a big part of my life, but somehow I never gave myself the time to explore their full possibilities. #textile #textileart #fibre #fibreart #creator #embroidery #embroideryart

One Hundred and twenty-one days to go before the launch of our new drop of art pieces. #art #design #mickwout #gallery #artproject #textile #porcelain #paper #humancondition #studiolife

A while ago, I created my own recipe for porcelain I happened to have all the ingredients in the studio This test piece had been waiting on the “to fire” shelf for quite some time,I finally fired it this week. The result is beautiful: not pure white, not creamy like Limoges, but a warm, bright white

The recipe: 55% Kaolin 30% Feldspar Potash 15% Silica (+5% dry paper) #ceramicartist #porcelainart #contemporaryceramics #makersmovement #ceramicstudio #materialresearch #sculpturalceramics #contemporaryart #art #design #mountains #mickmichel

This wool comes straight from my dog’s nest. I dipped it in liquid porcelain, and it transformed into a delicate, unexpected material, perfect for sculptural work. #contemporaryart #porcelainart #ceramicartist #artprocess #foundobjects #transformationart #makersmovement #mickmichel #art

A little sneak preview of one of the many porcelain towers I’ve started creating. This one belongs to Archivarion the Silent, the keeper of memories, guardian of what has been forgotten, and watcher of what is yet to come. #ceramicart #art #ceramicstudio #paperporcelain #porcelainart

Works in Progress For a while now, I’ve been fascinated by height and towers. I’ve admired great architecture all my life, and I think that’s why Now I’m exploring how to bring this into my own designs These two pieces are a work in progress #ceramicart #sculpture #art #porcelainart #sculptureart

Beautiful Mistake I - This summer I began a new series of sculptures. Some came out just right, others… not so much. This one collapsed, yet I find it stunning in its own way. A mistake, but a beautiful one. #ceramicart #porcelain #sculpture #art #porcelainart #sculptureart #art

Taking my annual August break. Spain in August is beautiful but brutal, too hot, too crowded. I’ll be offline, walking, reading, resting, finishing a masterclass or two. Back on 27 August, fresh and new. #offline #augustpause #summerbreak #holidaymode #slowseason #simplelife #backsoon

Today I stepped into my studio and decided: every day, I’ll just pick materials that speak to me in that moment and make a piece. No planning, just instinct. #art #jewellery #design #materials #artstudio

In summer 2025, I begin 1001 Pieces: a daily ritual of making. One piece a day using materials I’ve gathered and techniques I’ve honed. It may take 1001 days, or a lifetime. I’m not old, not young, but each day, I’ll create. One piece. One moment. One story. #art #design #porcelain #1001pieces

I came across a post from in my feed today, not that I’m starting a fashion brand, but the message really hit home. It said something I needed to hear: stop waiting for the perfect date to begin. #art #design #porcelain #studiolife

I can’t believe how paper-thin I managed to get this porcelain—just amazing. And it’s not even fired yet! #porcelainpaperclay #ceramicart #contemporaryceramics #artiststudio #workinprogress #handbuiltceramics #madebyhand #slowcraft #craftsmanship #art #porcelain #paperporcelain #ceramicart

Had some leftover porcelain and used it to make a few statement brooches. People like to throw the word woke around like it’s an insult—but I wear it with pride. I’d rather be woke than an ignorant f***ing twat #statementjewelry #consciousdesign #ceramicart #politicaljewelry #boldjewelry #woke

On this sweltering Thuseday, I couldn’t resist playing more with the porcelain paper clay I mixed yesterday. I tried making nesting bowls—but they don’t quite fit. Time to consult my nerdy husband for some proper calculations. #porcelainpaperclay #ceramicexperiment #studiolife #art #artist #design

After six months away, I’m finally back in the studio, working with porcelain and feeling more passionate than ever. I can’t wait to share the first pieces—successes and experiments—fresh from the kiln. #porcelainstudio #ceramicart #studiolife #workinprogress
