At the height of pro-voting events, Meta took down the main No Kings organizing page on Instagram for about 4 hours. Meta didn’t respond to the No Kings team, even as the account was offline at the peak of our national day of action & livestream. Once viewable, Meta emailed “they made a bad call.”

Not until close to 6 Eastern time did the No Kings account could be used again. “WE ARE BACK IN! This was utter bullsh*t on the biggest early vote effort in history. No Kings means no kings in the White House or Silicon Valley.” It’s tough when areas of communication are controlled by MAGArs.
