LEE: I asked Chairman Comer, if Pam Bondi did not come, would he force her to or if he would move for contempt hearings as he did for other people who did not respond to our subpoena? Instead of answering as an adult, he said that I was “bitching”

World feeling a little loud lately? "The earth has music for those who listen." George Santayana. This hit me because my art is a collaboration with the earth. When we strip away environmental protections for profit, we aren't just losing resources; we’re losing the music that sustains our spirits.

They could never hunt us all down. They want us gone so badly? Fine. We'll build our own paradise in wilderness, hidden deep in the interiors of these empires you've built Far from the cities that they'll soon destroy Making countless refugees Countless more hungry and hurting.

At last, the crisis will become clear, but far too late, and taking so many innocents along. I will not cheer in those days, but mostly mourn And we will mourn alongside our siblings who lost everything, As we shelter them in the woods until they're whole again.

So to have someone feel they must distort their own eating habits for society - society is deeply ill. To have even one (1!) person not be eating at all -- ill To withold food from entire peoples for economic/ political maneuvering? To consolidate even more ill-gotten gains? For shame. Shame.

How do we stop it? Together. By putting down the screens that hypnotize us and walking outside, into the sun and chill and breath of the wild Letting our lungs expand and our minds forget Letting ourselves become healthy And thereby Eventually To beget health in others

Take note of all these people turning out for protests in small towns in red states. Remember them the next time you’re inclined to write an area off because “they voted for this.”

An adult driver angry at a child they hit with their car. Our car culture summed up in one video.

Robson Fletcher@robsonfletcher.com

Police in Airdrie, Alberta (just north of Calgary) say this driver hit a 17-year-old girl in a marked crosswalk, got out of the vehicle, and appeared to get upset at the teenager before driving away. They released this video and are now trying to identify the driver.

If you want to do something to combat this potential source of neurodevelopmental disorders (it's not just autism), the best thing to do is to make sure you are getting enough antioxidants like Vitamin D and especially SUNLIGHT while pregnant! This keeps you able to handle oxidative stress 3/

IMPORTANTLY: if you are spiking a fever of 102F or greater, go ahead and treat that fever with some Tylenol! Do NOT go for NSAIDs like ibuprofen. Those meds can seriously harm the fetus's kidneys. Your baby needs those more than it needs social skills. 4/4

HOWEVER, and this is very important: it is theorized to have produced these results as a result of a marginal increase in the oxidative stress that the pregnant parent's cells are under. There are many, many things that cause oxidative stress in everyday life. Tylenol is just one of them. 2/

Liberals continue to be so unserious that they look at poor Americans and go "actually, you're all acting spoiled, because you still have running water" As if the left's point has ever been "we're all poor now :(" as opposed to "wealth inequality is at margins never before seen in HUMAN HISTORY"

I just got back from a week in El Salvador, mostly in San Salvador and Morazon (look it up). The idea that the US politics is driven by widespread poverty, or any kind of material privation, is surreal and absurd. Go somewhere else, see what real poverty is.

The more I learn the more I believe we need a mass movement of Black therapists, psychologists, and sociologists to help the diaspora heal from what has happened to us over the last 500 years. Unfortunately capitalism stays on our collective head so we can’t get a window to do this.

"Everyday People" by Sly & The Family Stone is a powerful anthem of unity, highlighting that despite differences, all people are equal and should coexist peacefully. Its messages challenged prejudice and celebrated inclusivity, as the band was one of the first major integrated rock groups.
