I think the best part about really throttling my time using literally every social networking site and all the past week is that my daily login to bluesky starts with somebody vagueing about something that I am insanely happy to say I know literally nothing about

"That thing everybody is talking about" yeah I'm sorry to say recently the only things I'm hearing everybody talk about is how rent sucks and that new Nathan fielder movie is insane, you just need to join me in trying to log off more

hey so i know this is wild for me at 7:30 PM my time but uh stream soon.

So bar any bullshit or me falling asleep my accident, I'm gonna be streaming Dragon Ball: Advanced Adventure later today! Hoping to bring back Otaku Hell by playing a game that's good for once.

Did that think i mentioned where I accidentally fell asleep. Gonna grab some food and hope to start this up at the top of the hour coming up

I love how you can always spot an advance wars shill because they will take any opportunity to bring up how Days of Ruin has maybe the best soundtrack of any DS game, likely on the short list of best soundtrack from ANY game

Been playing Axe Combat 8 and y'know, I get people who are weirdly into warplanes now. If one of these was my formative game I would also gladly ignore the atrocities they're used to commit in order to geek out about how cool they are

It's also funny to me that the game is on that hardcore Kojima theming where the game is intensely about war propaganda and how the suffering of civilians is used to further the success of the powerful and whatnot before making you feel like the coolest motherfucker for playing it and Killing Dudes

For the record, this and the chapter after it can best be described as the rakugo manga equivalent of when a side character gets a great backstory and a ton of love from the author before immediately jobbing to the big bad in a way that's not even fair. It's genuinely incredible.

I desperately want to talk about my plot opinions in more detail but sadly everybody I know has not had the time to dedicate 120 hours to it like I did, so I'm kinda just... waiting a little? But know that I would SOLIDLY recommend the Part 1s in a vacuum, and still consider this like... Pretty Good

I think my favorite thing about Fortune's Weave still being relatively new is that the meta progression and optimal play stuff isn't completely ironed out yet to the point of common knowledge, so I feel like everybody I talk to has an insanely out of pocket character/class combo they're using

My second favorite thing about Fortune's Weave being relatively new is having friends ask questions that are answerable by 3H lore and being able to let them know that actually the lore for that game is insanely weird in the coolest way imaginable
