Finally watched Barbarian. It was good. It's funny to see so much of the same DNA as in weapons, and it makes me glad that Resident Evil seems to be very linear because I'd hate to see Cregger rest on any laurels. He's so weird and he makes such specific fun big choices

Finally watched Hokum. Unlikeable protags, forgettable villains and a boring plot. The deepest concept is 'demon can't get through chalk circle'. Don't waste your time with Hokum, watch Strange Darling instead. It's ten times better and ten minutes shorter
