ℹ️ Coalville Town vs Romulus FC 📍 Voltage Solutions Stadium 🏆 Midland League Cup Some bloody cold non-league action. No glitz and glamour. Just 7° temperatures and long ball football for me tonight 🥶

Genuinely, when do United fans club together for their own leveraged buyout? We're too valuable for any single (legal) entity to purchase. Maybe it's time for the fans to rise.

I remember watching former Liverpool players as pundits in the 90s and 2000s, slagging off their team and banging on about the glory days. How Paisley et al did it so much better. That's United now, and for the past decade or more. But our problems are much deeper than Liverpool's back then.

The fans fully behind Carrick at OT, and clearly very angry at the players - Bruno in particular getting a lot of stick. As for the owners: "Sell United, fuck off home" heard loud and clear.

No centre forward. A ghost midfield. Dozy defence. Conceding all the space, but creating none. Losing every 50/50. No running. No pressing. Offering nothing off the ball. Feeding off scraps. Not supporting each other. No leadership. Failing at the basics. What is actually being coached at United?

If I was watching Manchester Utd as a brand new experience with no history or context, I'd assume: - maybe they were newly promoted - they'd signed lots of new players who hadn't yet gelled - their fitness wasn't yet up to speed - they didn't expect to win because they considered themselves inferior

Bruno benched by Carrick. He had to, didn't he? No manager with any backbone would accept that kind of insubordination. Plus, Bruno being well off his best made the decision much, much easier.

Carrick's news conference didn't add any fuel to the fire, so that's something. His calmness has always been a strength, so he was never gonna call out any players, despite being goaded to do so. It's an impossibly tough gig that he's got.

All it takes is a few wins to turn the tide. Only he will know if that's possible with this dressing room. Something's gotta change on Sunday. He never dismissed the idea of dropping Bruno - what a statement that would be. It all depends whether he considers that "the best for the football club".

Carrick: "A lot of it's the motivation, and the intention, and the purpose, and the intensity of the game of football that you have to bring. We didn't bring that today." He's not wrong - he got none of that from the players. But this - plus Bruno's comments - spells a fracture in the dressing room

Carrick's doing his best, but unfortunately that was never gonna be enough. However, players playing the blame game can fuck right off. It's not helpful. And they're arguably much more culpable than the manager ever will be.

I understand Bruno's look of disbelief being hooked for Zirkzee. But come on, he must've known. And for Zirkzee to go and score as well - not a good look for Fernandes. Another poor game.

The absolute chasm in coaching between Cesc Fabregas' Como, and Michael Carrick's Manchester United. No communication - between players or from the coach. No intensity. No rhythm. No leadership. No plan A, B or C. I'll never stop caring, although I wish I didn't. But this is hard to keep watching.

ℹ️ Forest U21s 3-2 Man Utd U21s 📍 Loughborough University Stadium 🏆 Premier League 2 Tough game against a very good young Forest team. Diego Léon is a unit - but had an anonymous game. Lots of promise from Jim Thwaites and Samuel Lusale. Really like the look of Daniel Armer as well. #mufc

Is anyone really expecting anything from the Leeds game on Sunday? Worst game for us in this fragile mental state. We're like rabbits in the headlights. Hard to see where Carrick gets any respite. I think the end is near for him.

We're such a better team than this scoreline and performance suggests. I'm honestly at a loss. It has to be psychological at this point. Nothing's happening for us. We're getting easily rattled. We lack any belief that we can score. Dalot took about 20 seconds to respond to that Lammens save

Basic, basic errors are once again making life very difficult for United. Wayward passes, unforced errors, lacking finesse and accuracy. It's all very amateurish.

I just want a good coach, who's: - tactically flexible and intuitive - a motivator - loves the club - isn't risk-averse Not one or two of those traits. And definitely the first one as a non-negotiable. Is that really too much to ask?

Slaven Bilic is a fraud. Must have the same interview charisma as Roberto Martinez. I have no idea how he keeps getting work, especially at this level.

Normal England cynicism aside...this is an exceptional England attacking performance. Credit where it's due. It's been a joy to watch. And Anthony Gordon is on the cusp of becoming world class.

JJ Gabriel wants OUT of Manchester United at 15! 😯 Is it misplaced arrogance? A sign of United's decline? His meddling Dad? All of the above? 🤔 Have your say in the comments! #mufc #manutd #jjgabriel #manchesterunited #PremierLeague

How the Premier League must've felt delivering that verdict! A shocking state of affairs for English football. Manchester City systematically cheated their way to success, for more than a decade. Throw the book at them! #mcfc #mancity #manchestercity #premierleague

Quick reality check: My club is being run by the Glazer family, Brexit Jim, and 2 former Man City crooks in Wilcox and Berrada.

Frankly, Joe Hart can fuck off. I expected better from him to be honest. Same goes for any City player, past or present, aligning themselves with the party line. Grow a pair and call it out for what it is. I dare you. I know what side of history I'd prefer to be on. www.espn.co.uk/football/sto...

espn.co.ukJoe Hart: I believe Man City chairman claims that club are innocentFormer Man City goalkeeper Joe Hart has said he trusts club chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak's claims that the club will "prove their innocence" despite the expectation they will be found guilty of the majority of breaches of Premier League financial rules.

I don't have a huge amount of sympathy for City fans in all this. Most have whom have deflected, denied and doubled down, standing by their owners. I'm sure there's an in-built instinct to defend your club. But in *any* situation? Really?

Love how Bluesky is totally knackered at the time when all I wanna do is read about - and comment on - those cheating bastards.

Kaldoon al Mubarak and the "irrefutable evidence" that will prove their innocence. Mate, it's already very much been refuted! 😂 Makes me wonder how bad it really is. How much of this is just surface-level? What else are they hiding? No smoke without fire. Can't fucking see for smoke at the minute.

That Premier League statement about Manchester City is shocking. It always felt wrong, their spending. But you never want to sound like a bitter rival. Seeing those numbers though - almost £1bn in inflated contracts - wow. Expel the cheating bastards from the League. This can't ever be ok.

It means the Premier League have to itself hold its hands up too - the checks and balances for club owners have been fundamentally weak. Club ownership regulations need a complete rewrite. It will damage the PL financially, for sure. But the pursuit of riches is exactly why we're in this mess.

The fact the Glazers were ever allowed to leverage the buyout of Manchester United by simultaneously saddling a self-sustaining, profitable club with generational debt, is scandalous. But my club is only one case. How many are losing their souls in this mental money chasing game?

Brighton have been absolutely ruthless today! Arsenal haven't been anywhere near good enough, but Hurzeler's got his team taking full advantage.

Tottenham's first PL goal is...a consolation OG?! 😂 Might well be. Hard to mock Spurs as a Manchester United fan. But wow, they've been so poor again.

This is now, without doubt, another awful start to a season. By any metric. Lethargic, uninspiring, mentally fragile. It's hard to know where to start to rectify it.

Clear red for Foden, what a stupid thing to do in the age of VAR. Still, it guarantees nothing in a derby. I agree Bruno should've had a yellow. Game on 😬

Oh do fuck off, Ineos. Read the room FFS
