I don't suppose anyone would know why adding BepInEx to The Lab makes my controllers disappear? I thought it was a Linux/Monado issue, but the issue also occurred on Win10/SteamVR.

I scored a basketball! Also, I reached the #PEAK. I am very proud of this accomplishment. A great many thanks are owed to @lumkitty.uk, who guided me through this experience.

I've just released that mod I was making for The Lab. I'm calling it VapourTap, and it's like OnAirTap, but for games using the SteamVR Unity Plugin, so you can externally composite your VTuber into the game. My testing ability is a bit limited, so I would appreciate some feedback. #VTuberTech

Just 11 hours until my 4th Streamerversary. I've somehow ended up with over 20 guests for this one. It's gonna be 16 hours long with 8 games! I'm scared! It's gonna be awesome! twitch.tv/LumKitty #VTuber #ENVTuber #VTuberEN #Jackbox #Peak #BeatSaber #GarticPhone #FFXIV #MonsterProm

I made a WebSocket mod for PEAK. You can do some cool stuff with it. Here, I'm using a small python script to call triggers in #VNyan. #peakgame #peakmod

Hey Did you know that it's a bad idea to start fires in the fifth heatwave of the summer? I've just been informed that it's true. You learn something new every day.

If I have a maths question, and I'm not a complete novice, but I don't know the terms needed to describe the question, what do I do? Is there a place for that?

After successful extended testing, RC1 is now officially VRnyan 2.1 and works with OnAirTap 1.1 which brings many new features, including the ability to disable transparent walls in Beat Saber by changing the layer masks so that walls look the same on stream as they do in-game! #VNyan #VTuberTech

VRnyan 2.1-RC1 (formerly LIVnyan) and OnAirTap 1.1 have been released, both will need to be upgraded simultaneously. Native Linux MMF support Code optimisations Removed remaining references to LIV (LIV still supported) github.com/LumKitty/VRn... github.com/MilkyDelta/O... #VTuberTech #VNyan

Just put out a pre-release version of OnAirTap v1.1 The two main additions are - An OWML port (for NomaiVR's LIV addon) - A MelonLoader port It would be very helpful if some people could test it and send feedback, as I am not currently able to fully test those features. github.com/milkydelta/O...

github.comRelease v1.1-pre1 · milkydelta/OnAirTapThere's a few changes here. I'll leave explanations for the non-prerelease version. The MelonLoader port has been built against (and tested with) MelonLoader 0.7.3 on Open Brush v2.30. That's a Mon...

why do my spout senders keep dying one minute, everything's grand. the next minute, nothing works. i'm not doing anything. why this happen?

I'm trying to make an alternate version of OnAirTap that works with games using the SteamVR Unity Plugin, such as "The Lab", as seen in the attached image. Results have been mixed.

Just realised that I left 4 fountain pens out through the entirety of the recent heatwave. The ink has completely dried, so I'm going to have to spent the next few hours cleaning them out.

It took me an embarrassingly long time to realise I accidentally named my project after a foodstuff. As in, it was more than a month.

OnAirTap is a mod for games that use the LIV Unity SDK. It enables the use of their mixed reality camera, without any need for the main LIV application. The output of that camera is given to you via Spout2 texture sharing, and it's location is controlled by the LIVnyan plugin for #VNyan.

If you think my software is cool, feel free to tag me in a post saying "This software adequately performs it's stated purpose."

This is now available for testing! @milkydelta.moe has kindly agreed to let me post the OnAirTap binaries publicly LIV-like VR streaming but without LIV Native Spout2 output Linux Support (w/ Spout2PW) Realtime clip plane adjustment so you can walk around objects More efficient #VTuberTech #VNyan

LIVnyan 1.3a2 + OnAirTap 0.6 - compositing my VTuber into 3D art package OpenBrush - using LIV APIs but without LIV in Windows or Linux! We can now determine the foreground layer clip position based on the position of a bone in your model (hips recommended) #VTuberTech #VNyan #VR #VirtualReality

I helped make a thing happen!

Over the last two months, I've been doing some programming projects. I'm really proud of what I've made, and it's honestly been one of the main highlights of the year so far. Having a thing to do feels good. I want to make them open-source, so they're still around if I get hit by a bus on Friday.

A few years ago, the decision would have been easy. Now, I have to consider whether I'm ok with a group of sociopathic salesmen using my project to improve the magic boxes they're using to destroy social cohesion, evaporate the job market I haven't entered, and exacerbate idiocy across the world.

Just heard that Plasma is dropping the X11 session in a few months. Now I need to figure out how to fix my sddm config, so it works with other sessions. I've been putting it off for over a year, but now there's an approaching deadline.

why is england so hot? i expect england to be in one of two weather states: overcast or raining. my house is insulated, my fan is broken, and my window has no curtains i'm desiccating here. my life is not built to deal with this.

I love software, so much. It's great when everything works and nothing goes wrong and all the things you're building atop do what they're supposed to do.

In my experience, Steam Link has been much better than Sunshine. I regularly have to remote into my home PC over a very unreliable network. Using the moonlight client, I can barely manage 480p at 15 FPS. Over that same connection, Steam Link is able to do 720p at 60 FPS

I should add: This is a very poor connection. In-home, and on most sensible networks, they both perform brilliantly. I actually like using sunshine because it shows the full desktop instead of just the active game.

I remade the TF2 voting UI as a browser source. Why? I'm not sure, but I do now know more about CSS. I'm not even a streamer. I have no use for this. #tf2

I've had my account for a while. Still not sure how to do "microblogging". What's the bar for a post-worthy thought? I'll probably figure it out eventually.

You are up to date.
