@jeseph.com Heads up, Vic has declared her fandom for the Bills. If this winds up being the year y'all finally win the Superbowl, know 2 things: 1. She is your talisman and must be protected at all costs 2. To some degree, your fortunes are in the hands of a Jets fan 😈 cc @buffalo-bills.bsky.social

The SpongeBob music during our lineup roll call was quite funny. Belies a certain insecurity, tho. #knicks #nbafinals

Was that Refused's "New Noise" playing in the arena coming out of the commercial break?? Nice. #knicks #nbafinals

@wilreynolds.bsky.social electric as always on stage, pally. Glad I hustled in to take in your session.

Ooh, nah ...

@minakimes.bsky.social as a Jet fan, allow me to be the first to say:

@jeseph.com please, oh PLEASE, let big baller Beane hire *double-checks notes* Phil Rivers 😂

@jeseph.com I'm finding this game stressful, can't imagine what kinda shape you're in rn 😂

@jeseph.com don't let Joey B become a Jet. BETTER PRAY Mougey can't make it happen! THESE SKEETS WON'T BE SAFE FOR YOU IF IT HAPPENS.

A huge Google update rolling out over the Holidays? Looking more likely by the day. I wonder what made them miss an opportunity to launch during black Friday and the following week... that's basically like printing ad revenue...

@jeseph.com O-line tonight... 😬

@jeseph.com y'all almost didn't pay Cook.

@jeseph.com Jets coming to y'all crib for week 18? Maybe the close the season and possibly ruin chance at the 1 seed?

Why is this guy still only on the bird site?? Anyway, Mike came to rock and can report that faces were melted. #seoweek

Content quality at #SEOweek is super high caliber. My litmus test: could not tune out for even a second to slack for work else I'm all the way lost. Some of these other conferences are live performances of Google's public docs on best practices. That is NOT the vibe here!

Still trying to be this cool when I grow up. Btw, if you've never seen/heard @lilyray.nyc spin that's really a damn shame.

Come on ... Don't lob these softballs at the G team. What kind of answer were you expecting here???

Oh... oh no... G's AI overview just helped me make a purchase decision...

Now that I got the Search Central Live spot locked in, I'm like, "Well who all is going?"

From a buddy of mine who's not on here cc @jeseph.com

It's SOAD + Korn in my neighborhood and I'm a little upset and jealous of the Toronto stop, @jessjoyce.bsky.social exclaim.ca/music/articl...

Yes, and: Q4 update size and frequency may indicate how deep they gotta dig in the couch cushions to meet annual goals. Yes, even ad rev targets. You think ad spends stay still while organic traffic rides the roller coaster?

Important nuance here on canonical piece: only shows WHAT THEIR SYSTEMS HAVE CHOSEN AS the canonical not necessarily what you're declaring as the canonical either on page, in sitemaps, in headers, w/e. Ideally, you & G agree. Often, you won't. 🤷‍♂️

Well, I have no idea why the hell I did this or if anyone will really care :-), but here is the code for my Daily SEO feed on Bluesky. github.com/jroakes/Dail... Here is the Feed: bsky.app/profile/did:... A few notes:

Oh cripes, sorry to be 40, but can someone plz explain the cartoon dog meme I'm seeing everywhere now...

Okay but what about Forbes, tho. 😒

Still haven't come across a think piece titled "While My Bluesky Gently Skeets" so we're all falling down on the job I guess. Either that or we're all actually okay; I just think that's less likely.

Did you know if your load you LCP image from another origin (e.g. an image CDN) then LCP time may not be reported properly in RUM (but is in CrUX)? Let’s dig into why, and also how we’re looking to fix this very soon… 🧵

Okay. So. I _may_ have been wrong about pho.

Wait, hold up, these are called "skeets" here? That's not a thing, is it? Someone's messing w/me right?

Pokin' around the bluesky ...
