Finally my meat blob managed to reach PB km stride. But not a second faster — an exact result from last year. Well, at least *something*! #Running

Last time I have experimented with code generators was almost a year ago. But the noise from the Astra/Fable/Opus5.5 wave seems unescapable. And I don’t mean the bros or influencers — it is just too much of coders with 20, 30, 40 years of experience declaring the towel throw on manual.

So I guess I will need to reevaluate where are we at with the usefulness of the clankers.

This didn’t fully register for me during the event video. (I think 2 Safari windows were shown side-by-side there.) But all apps can support more than one scene on Duo. Totally has nothing to do with iPadOS. :)

Oh, yet another featured UI misalignment! 🤦‍♂️ Nothing to do with the Duo UI itself, just Measure app used as an example here. Way more in-your-face-obvious. And as it happens during angle value animation — it is jittery, so does not even require having a designers eye to be irritated.

Was this tone already present in some WWDC videos? I don’t remember this point being so on the nose from what I have watched in June. Or I just notice it more now because I did read all those SwiftUI critique articles recently?

Continuing on not beating any PBs in running this year. Not yay! Winter had a break. Summer had heatwaves. Also didn’t shed fat reserves to what I consider being the usual summer level. And it’s already mid September. #Running

To clarify: the highlighted text is a command to execute from Terminal. Then many apps (after relaunching them) have the newly set window corner rounding. ON: defaults write -g NSConvolutionOverride1 -float 1 OFF: defaults delete -g NSConvolutionOverride1

With 0.1 value the borders get a strange rendering. :) 3px wide, instead of standard 1px.

The critique of Safari icon redesign in comic format did spread well on several Reddit channels. (Not that I understand Reddit.) Did hear a lot more of the “cannot unsee it now”, so mission more successful than I expected. Hope they will continue to complain about it. :)
