Lost in Space

I’m now in the heavy modeling stage of the program where iteration is painful and expensive. I think this guy has been cranking on 4d water for two hours straight. Maybe eventually I’ll learn what’s being done

It’s a fascinating and turbulent time out here on the web. Every organization that accepts submissions is under a torrent unspeakable slop. There are no clean solutions

i cannot imagine doing this shit what the fuck lmao have people lost their marbles

This is surely the most removed from reality I’ve ever been. Yeah sure solve four dimensional chemistry, it’s fine, this is all real and useful stuff, part of the typical 22nd century students curriculum. If you can’t understand it in four dimensions how could you possibly understand it in 3

In my continuing quest to build intuition in 4d spaces, and in particular trying to see the rainbow cone in 4d, I have a demo landscape for each of the three main foams where you can twist into w and scan through w games.mino.mobi/iris4/ The rainbow hyperbola is not easy to achieve but it is there

The Tables are garbage resource utilization, imagine the bottlenecks! No instead, the numbers should have been divided into twenty four regiments, each separated in time by an hour. Surely these enlightened folk have solved for circadia surely they have conquered the sun

United into a single body with a million hands, at the very same second, designated by the Tables, we carry the spoons to our mouths; at the same second we all go out to walk, go to the auditorium, to the halls for the Taylor exercises and then to bed.

Often 4th dim is shown in time; this time I tried use orientation. You are a craft flying through a 4dim foam. You are avoiding edges of that foam, and whenever you turn the craft, you turn the space through the 4th dim, moving the edges. games.mino.mobi/plateau I recommend starting on tesseract

All the prior art on 4D tiling is completely baffling. Here something called the d4 24cell is scanning through w space, showing XYZ space. An explorer toy games.mino.mobi/foam4/

One interesting feature of the game is the progression. You start in the classical depiction of the foam. A tiling in four dimensions. As you progress, nodes become less structured and eventually you hit a voronoi foam in four dimensions, entirely random.

Hintons tesseract is so intriguing because as defined the object is invariant in w. However, if you tilt the space in the zw plane you get this double elevator effect. And then that can stack over the axes. A hill in time? I guess

One feature of the explorer is the ability to rotate any of the axes with respect to w. So here we take the same object as above, but pull z into w by 45deg. It’s not the same at all!

I have given some worlds periodic w dimensions, such that the fourth spatial dimension simply loops back into itself. So you look into parallel worlds and find an endless hall of mirrors that, in this case, you may hook yourself through. Its sweet go play

Good news everyone! Topological minigames continue with anakata. Puzzles in 4 dimensions. You can move in the standard 3 but can tune your vision to see another cross section of w. You also have a grappling hook you can fire through the fourth dimension to move boxes/you games.mino.mobi/anakata/

I have added “w-ramps” where you can step through the w dimensions while still in the xy plane. Still very tricky!

Ooh I can permalink em from the generator! This “medium” difficulty puzzle was fun and good. And makes me fear what the “hard” setting looks like games.mino.mobi/anakata/?roo...
