Followup on whether star systems merely traveled through in BattleTech count as visited or if you need to actually orbit the main planet: Traveling through is sufficient for visitation status to be recorded. ✔️ That's good, it will make my goal of visiting everywhere much more easily attainable. 😚

Sickness seems to be going around. I've felt an itchy throat yesterday, but maybe it was just nerves, like I'm feeling it because I anticipate it may happen? 🤧 Anyway, I drank ginger tea and ensured to consume sufficient vitamins for my immune system. 🥝🫚 Also garlic. 🧄 So far, no further symptoms. 🤞

After playing BattleTech for so long, you'd think I know if traveling through a system counts as "visited" or if I actually need to orbit the main planet with the store, hiring hall and the mission board. Anyway, it's taking forever, but I am still planning to visit everywhere and get max ratings. 😤

I ended up focusing on singleplayer N64 games and only one of each series at most, or else I'd have trouble on which ones to exclude to get it down to four. 🎮 Bomberman 64, Lylat Wars, Mario Kart 64, Mario Party 3, Ocarina of Time, Star Wars Shadows of the Empire, ... and I'm running out of space. 😆

Lately when editing alt text for image uploads on BlueSky (I am using the web app with Firefox), the text input cursor keeps jumping to the very end after every keystroke. This does not happen to me on other screens, in other programs, anywhere else, really. Surely it's a bug? A vibe coding quirk? 😵

In BattleTech, I'm pretty sure Flashpoints respawn if they time out before you attempt them. But I haven't seen a completed one again, which makes sense since they all have storylines with conclusions. I personally wouldn't mind repeating them after XXX amount of days, but it would not make sense. 😗

The trouble with fielding your heaviest mechs in base defense missions is low initiative. Sure, you can take and dish out a lot of punishment, but lighter mechs go first in the move order and blast the buildings you need to protect before you get a chance to draw their aggro to your mechs instead. 🤖
