Daguerrean

By the late 50s these “crayon style” daguerreotypes were in vogue, particularly in Eugene Oliver’s home of Boston. Eugene’s parents clearly took him to one of the best artists the city had to offer. It is sad the world would move on from daguerreotypes just as they were perfected #history #antiques
