I’m starting to think that the only thing my $400-a-month medical insurance actually covers is being able to walk into a doctor’s office and not get shot in the head by a sniper

Obviously, my taxes pay for the sniper’s health insurance. That’s the way of the world. Getting a gun from the state makes you more important that anyone else, it’s just natural.

Then the guy who “founded” inktober and made all the most popular prompts got cancelled for plagiarism and inktober got balkanized into a bunch of smaller, less widely-reaching October-long drawing challenges. It’s kinda like Twitter, if you think about it.

Remember that one year we had discourse over people doing their inktober drawings digitally? My mentality is always “well if you’re drawing, you’re drawing” but shit man with all the March of Robotses and merMays and Swordtembers maybe the only thing inktober had to set it apart was the ink

Listen if I created DRAWGUST I’m getting a lawyer to trademark it. That shit takes place on the nothingest month of the year at the end of the summer and no one has to give each other shit about only using ink because you just gotta DRAW

I’m fascinated by inktober honestly. I was a pretty avid participant until I went thermonuclear and retold the Bionicle story over the course of 31 days and not like, every day of the year. Because it had to be inktober (ink doesn’t even rhyme with oc but draw rhymes with au, Drawgust is superior)

right now I’m at a point in my life where I am venomously hateful towards any kind of advertising, right at a time in advertising’s life where it is all just total dog shit
