when I'm bored and read a description of a place/location I can't resist the urge to try to find it I think I found the helium site up near Babbit in like a minute.

After his trip to the vet last week we let mr. stray cat inside for the next few days before he leaves 100% an indoor cat

Extremely chill guy at the vet. Probably about a year old, already fixed. This guy has to be someone's pet. He's way too clean and friendly to be a true stray. Do I put up paper flyers like it's the 1900s? I've tried everything else

Stray cat update: he's chillin. Still just living on our deck and sometimes in the garage. He'll move into a forever home in a little over a week. Before it gets cold

Quick trip back to Madison yesterday for a funeral today but we took the scenic route home through the driftless region so it wasn't so bad.

I was 14 and won an ipad from this startup website. That turned into a simple data entry job where the guy would paypal me like $1,000 per week to enter products into his site. After a while he wanted to fully hire me but I ghosted instead of telling him I was 14 lol

This post is unavailable.

If I was a few years older or could have convinced him, it probably would have been incredible from a career standpoint. Shortly after I ghosted, Jack Dorsey and Kanye got involved with it for a little bit. The site never fully took off, but it was peak absurd lavish startup and I just missed it.

Best part of being a person who bought a lot of smart home stuff over the years is the number of class action lawsuits I can get money from.

the promised photos. Now he (? I think it's he) just needs at least a temporary name

This cat has barely left my house since this video. It made friends with my cats through the windows. Guess I've gotta figure out if it's a missing pet, or get him fixed if not? He's unbelievably friendly, will post cat pics later.

a cat was talking to a turkey in my driveway a few minutes ago??

99% sure it's a stray. Its been in our yard at night for over a month now and acted like a stray until he discovered my cats through the patio window. Now he's super friendly and won't leave. Usually our cats freak out and try to fight any animal on our deck (cats, raccoons, possums). Not this guy

is this just a temper tantrum because the originally planned "first" Wisconsin Bucees in DeForest has been delayed for years because the city won't pay millions to upgrade the entire interstate interchange for him?

Seems there was some kind of spill or leak. Some more fire people arrived later and went behind our neighbors house to look at the Mississippi for a little bit, then a MN Pollution Control guy showed up later. More people checking the drains this morning. No idea.

Fire crew guy checking the sewer drain in front of my house and I hear "you need a hazmat crew?" over his radio. Wonder what this is about.

I’m using my executive authority to ban nonferrous mining in the Boundary Waters.    As far as my administration is concerned, the fight for the future of the Boundary Waters is over. The verdict is in. The decision is made. We will protect this place.

The ball of string in Darwin, MN is about an 1 hour 17 minute drive from Minneapolis, MN. The ball of string in Cawker, KS is about a 1 hour 10 mn drive from Minneapolis., KS.

I was visiting my parents in Faribault and my mom had something she needed notarized but she said it's no problem, the guy mowing the neighborhood will do it when he's done. It's Marty's (deli) dad lol.

So I've had this vague memory from my childhood of a helicopter landing in my back yard (large, out of town). I remember my dad saying it was an old friend who owned a casino in Vegas. Ok sure. Maybe it was a dream? I never remember to him ask about it. But tonight I'm on Wikipedia... 1/2

My dad has a cabin an hour north of Grand Rapids and I put some cameras up a few years ago so he can watch the deer, mainly. Caught a bear on it for the first time last night
