Bucher moves to remove Douglass from the proposal, arguing it's rural nature should have excluded it from consideration on the same way BVSD did not include mountain towns in this plan

That amendent also fails by same vote. Board said they are unwilling to split up the schools in the plan

We're now into formal discussion of the measure and possible amendments. Board member Otting is asking Birch to be removed from the closure list because Adams 12 is also looking at closing schools, and that might impact numbers

That motion to exclude Birch from proposal fails 5-2. Based on comments, it appears this is how board is leaning on overall measure as well
