I take some solace in the fact that narcissism sows the seeds of its own destruction. The MAGA midterm Trumpapalooza was a real seed show.

What would happen if Trump realized that only one American state has a name that was not derived from European nobility/locations or non-English languages? The only state that has a purely “American” name is Idaho. The name was just made up by some lobbyist.

Inspired by Trump’s brilliant bit of wordplay (changing “Democrat” to “Dumocrat”), I thought I’d try my hand it. Start with “Donald,” replace two letters, and you get “Dumold Trump.”

John Cornyn wants to convert a highway (US 287) into Interstate 57 and name it “Trump Interstate.” Why would he propose that? Could he be seeking the endorsement of Trump in the Texas senate primary run-off?

When Trump announced that he had “decimated” Iran’s military, he was inadvertently telling the truth. “Decimate” means to destroy a lot of stuff, leaving a lot of stuff intact. He has since learned the real definition of “decimate.”

Given that Trump is concerned about a Democratic (and democratic) takeover of Congress, his threat to defund Medicare seems unwise. Much like all of his threats. And his MAGA minions are going to have a grand time explaining this on the campaign trail.

I don’t think this is a typo. The “SS” looks correct to me.

Last night, Abby Philip referred to Trump as “Batman.” I think she really meant “Bat-Shit Crazy Man.”

Trump: “Can you imagine? I missed that four years — and now look what I have! I have everything. Amazing the way things work out. God did that — I believe that, too. [Applause.] God did it." So, God was responsible for the fraud in the 2020 election?
