If Andy Beshear doesn’t call for a special election before August 3rd and force Mitch McConnell to prove he can speak in a video, then Andy Beshear becomes the new Merrick Garland. I’m sorry but I make the rules.

Despite Blanches horrific statements over the last two days, Repubs will confirm him. Being Trumps lawyer - doesn’t matter. His treatment of the survivors- doesn’t matter.

Dems are not the same. Graham died and Dems are offering condolences. Meanwhile, Repubs like Trump celebrate the death like Rob Reiner and Robert Mueller.

Stripe magazine reports that Hegseth is not allowing men (mostly effecting Black men) to not get a medical exemption from shaving. This coupled with his denial or promotions and blatant firings should be enough to get him fired!

Sec of Transportation Duffy says bike lanes are DEI! This regime continues to deeply misunderstand the meaning of this phrase.

One of the best reasons to vote for Democrats in Nov is to get Mike Johnson out of his role as Speaker of the Procrastinators. To never hear him lie aloud again in his soft fake voice would be perfect!

At this point, Trump has been played by pretty much every country in the Middle East, from Israel and Saudi to the UAE and Qatar, and now by Iran itself. He’s like a Baby Huey in a world of grownups. He makes Jimmy Carter look like a canny master of geopolitical maneuvering.

Why data centers are awful for us:

Robert Reich@rbreich.bsky.social

This blew my mind. Some of the largest data centers can require up to 5 million gallons of water per day, equivalent to the water use of 50,000 people. Why are we selling out the survival of our planet to enrich a handful of Big Tech CEOs?

Screwworms eradicated in the US in 1966. Measles eradicated in the US in 2000. Both are back because of this science denying administration.

Senator Josh Hawley has zero medical background BUT is an expert in women’s health and wants to get rid of Mifepristone legally.

DHS takes a bunch of people with zero training, gives them weaponry, immunity from the law (or so it appears), and tells them to be suspicious of the public. What could possibly go wrong?

One more truly awful thing this regime has done to whitewash American history…https://apnews.com/article/netherlands-american-cemetery-black-liberators-trump-06d7a64d11a29736e999664054d29419

Remember in Superman 2 when Gen Zod says how Superman really cares about the people? Then he and his duo go about destroying everything? That’s this regime! No SNAP, reduced air travel, etc. And the senators gave in!

Trump has done 76 golf outings totaling $60.7 million dollars to tax payers. Kash Patel flies his gf around on his tax payer funded jet. No money for snap or wic or health care for us. The hypocrisy is staggering!

Texas SB12 says that schools cannot call anyone anything but their legal name. Example: Michael is no longer Mike. This is a great use of the Texas govt. 🤦🏻‍♀️

We need a 90.000 sq ft ballroom with a hefty price tag, but not NPR, PBS, etc.

Brian Tyler Cohen@briantylercohen.bsky.social

Good news for everyone who believed that Trump felt your pain during the campaign-- food and housing prices might be rising and tariffs might be making everyday goods more expensive, but at least Trump is getting a 90,000 sq ft ballroom for himself!

Trump and group are trying anything to distract Americans from his Epstein involvement: MLK, football teams, and now Clinton’s emails! All while he breaks laws consistently but in the open so it’s ok! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Texas govt is blaming the National Weather Service for not informing them. However, warnings went out at 1,4,5am!! There were no systems in place to act on the warnings ! Plus the DOGE cuts to NOAA. Add these all up and now we have a tragedy that could have possibly been avoided.

Important message for those claiming to be Christian (like the Senate praying after they passed the BBB)!

Bishop Danny Garcia of Austin: “We live in a time of great suffering and hurst…We cannot profess to be Catholic and Christian, yet see one another as enemies or strangers. The poor, the weak, those that live on the margins of society and life cannot be forgotten in our policies and practices.
