My beautiful Mom on her wedding day in 1955 and my handsome Dad. I miss her, and him. When I passed my dissertation defense this past Wednesday, I walked to my car in the parking garage in the rain at Fordham. I talked to them both. Mom passed in 2005, Dad in 2023. I know they are very proud.

I get many replies on FB, with 893 “friends.” I have 1700 “followers” on BlueSky and nobody responds to anything. What’s up with that? I like BlueSky for the absence of MAGA and the information feed, but, as a social interactive platform? It really sucks. For me anyway. Is it an algorithmic thing?
