Just tried an onsen for the first time! Didn't like it, sadly. Just felt like I was stewing around doing nothing. Didn't do anything for me. Also felt like my chest was closing in, which wasn't fun! I do not get the hype.

Next on my itinerary: Super Nintendo World in Osaka! So glad I got to go to this one, especially considering I couldn't make it to the one in LA last year. Ngl, little bit underwhelmed, but still extremely cool! Glad I went :)

Also decided to pay a visit to the Eorzea Cafe in Osaka! Yeah it's just as good as the other one. Little different, but just as good.

Visited the Nintendo Museum today in Kyoto! my goodness this place is so flippin cool. made out like a bandit with some nice mugs and shirts as well!

Just had melonpan for the first time oh MAN it was good !!!!

Today, I met two legends.

Today I went to 8-4 hashi in Japan! It was literally the coolest place of all time. So much memorabilia and history packed into such a small space. Chokan-san was so lovely, too! Really helped bring it all together and give the place a nice, cozy vibe. 100% going there again someday.

I went to Eorzea Cafe in Akihabara today! It was SO dang good, oh my WORD. The theming, the food, the drinks - everything was amazing. Definitely going back here when I can.

oh Japan got that GOOD good stuff

Finally arrived in Japan!!!! But man I'm beat LOL, I've been travelling for 16 hours

Oh yeah this game is very very good by the way Bit bloated but I empathise

I'm going to Japan tomorrow!!! Super looking forward to it, but I'm also kinda nervous lol. I'm sure it'll be fine though. It's definitely gonna be worth it, at the end of the day.

Sonic Live in Concert in just a few days!!! It's gonna be so flippin good

IT'S TIME

Managed to beat Final Fantasy IV before starting FE Fortune's Weave! Really good game, I quite enjoyed my time with this one! I'm not huge on the ATB type system, but it's not the worst thing in the world. Very curious to get to V (in like a few months).

Two directs is biblical levels of greed oh my goodness

Considering going to Gamescom next year

the heat sucks!!! delete it NOW!!!!!

Fortune's Weave looks amazing!!! It's got some heavy time travel implements in the story, which I'm always all for, and the new classes look super interesting! 100% cannot wait for September

Fortune's Weave direct!!!! And I get to watch it at work !!!!!!!!

I beat Final Fantasy III! Really quite an enjoyable game! Definitely my favourite out of the three so far, though they really didn't have to regress so far back to the first game in terms of story and gameplay mechanics. Very very curious about IV though.

Super Robot Wars Z2.1 getting a remaster was not on my bingo card But heck yeah I'll take it!!!!

I'll get to playing the Xenoblade Switch 2 Editions eventually, I swear.

Fanfest has been so fucking good. I met so many cool people, did so many amazing things, and the stage shows were all phenomenal. Genuinely wonderful. Definitely coming back next EU Fanfest.

Oh my goodness Fanfest was amazing!! So many cool things to do and see, it's actually phenomenal! Excited for day 2!

at da fanfest :)

waking up early for a flight, yayyyyyyyyy

Something I've neglected to mention until now - I've been playing the classic Final Fantasy games for the first time! I recently beat 1 and 2, with the Pixel Remaster versions. I actually really quite enjoyed them! They're fun, quaint little games. Curious to see where 3 will rank for me.
