Horrendous call. That was a textbook reckless closeout, and the refs spent 5 minutes talking themselves out of doing the right thing.

I have been reffing high school flag football in San Francisco since 2019, and it’s a really amazing game. There are QBs with cannons for arms, unreal receivers, great DBs… California now has an official state championship for it, too.
