Also: Public safety officers Giant interactive info boards Pleasant law-enforcement officers I assure you, the rest of the year is not like this so please don’t idealize. Enjoy your time, but remember that this is a city on its best behavior.

Things that are happening, only because World Cup: Public restrooms Public water fountains Clean sidewalks Trains every four minutes Free public transportation. A general feeling of camaraderie No visible messes from major ongoing construction projects The fucking freeway is open northbound

WE COULDVE HAD FREE HEALTHCARE AND COLLEGE LOANS FORGIVEN AND SATURDAY FARMERS MARKETS AND BRUNCH... Instead, a bunch of assholes voted for a psychopath (AGAIN) who brought us to the brink of nuclear holocaust.

So far the war on Iran has cost $9.4 billion. That's $1 billion per day. $41,666,667 per hour. $11,574 per second. Thousands of lives lost. People don't want this. They want a living wage. They want healthcare. They want to be able to afford a home. They want their basic needs met.

My local gas station raised prices by 42cents per gallon over night. Coffee is $4 more per package. Tea jumped from $3.99 to $5.99 for a box. I would like to be able to afford to live at literally any point during my lifetime.

We were not over reacting.

Arnoldo Bazan, a 16-year-old U.S. citizen, was put in a chokehold by ICE agents. Agents took his phone, which he tracked to a used electronics vending machine near an ICE detention center. Yes: ICE is stealing and selling people’s things after brutalizing them. There are no words.

Ahhh yes, the 50 year mortgage. Can’t wait to pay my home off in my late eighties, on my fixed income (as long as social security still exists by then). Or we could fucking fix the housing market and stop investment firms from buying everything and driving up prices.

At my closest McDonald’s, a regular cheeseburger is $5.19. This is in a non-downtown area of Seattle, 30 min NW. Never thought I’d live during a time when hot prepared food would be considered a luxury to a LOT of folks.

Current: desk full of biomech. I really want to break into this style so I’ve been doing these little shape/flow studies for the past couple of days. If anyone in the Seattle area is interested in getting tattoos in this style, predrawn or draw-on to fill a weird gap- let me know!

Our little queen, Camilla💖 #muppets #tattoos Seattle Tattoo Expo this weekend- come say hi and book your next tattoo! I’ll have free stickers, candy, and some smaller handmade items if getting a tattoo isn’t in the budget right now!

Breaking News: Trump Speaks for One Hour Without Explaining Where U.S. Citizens Arrested in D.C. for Being Homeless Will Be Taken When He Puts Them in Custody and Sends Them "Far Away"

Fall is coming, and I am so excited for cooler weather and Halloween #tattoos! Here’s a #witchy #misspiggy #muppet tattoo I’d love to do! Permission is NOT granted for use of this image- for tattooing or otherwise.

Sweetums, for the Muppet Project! (Bats not done by me) Brookie wanted this image originally created by the talented Jarrod Maruyama- translated into a tattoo that fits between her muppet bats! This style was challenging but the end result is 🧑‍🍳💋

There’s this scene in Merlin (1998) when Sam Neill turns his back on Queen Mab along with all the courts and says defiantly “We forget you, Queen Mab” and she dissolves into memory. And I really really wish that worked irl for reasons *gestures at government*

While I appreciate the sentiment, can we stop calling people that we don’t like- especially men like JD Vance- dildos? The thing is, you’re now making a correlation between a tool of (often) feminine pleasure, and horrible men. Might I offer instead, the term human speculum. Unpleasant, unwanted.

I finally managed to get to a clinic that accepts my insurance today and I need both antibiotics and topical steroid for my ears. Today I’m feeling fatigued and can tell my immune system has been working hard. Hopefully my ears will clear up quickly, I can’t afford to take extra time off.

On Sunday I bought some cute earrings. Put them in and wore them for a couple of hours- maybe 4 or so? Monday morning, my earlobes were red and rashy. Today, they look like giant blisters. I tried to go to my closest (non ER) urgent care and was denied care because I have Medicaid Insurance. 🧵🪡

So here I am, something is VISIBLY wrong with my body and I’ve been turned away from getting medical attention because I HAVE insurance. So I just hope that if you’ve ever complained about people on medical assistance programs, that you understand that we have to work very hard to actually use

They referred me to another urgent care, 10 minutes away by car and outside of the neighborhood where I live. So, we go over there and they wouldn’t be able to get me in for another four hours. They don’t even offer to set an appointment for a later date. At this point I know I’m not going to

Receive care today. We go home, and I call another clinic that is closer to home to see if they have any appointments tomorrow or Thursday, and I spend an hour and a half on hold. After an hour and a half, I’m still in the queue but it’s almost 5 and I hang up.

We’ve bombed Iran. And dismantled our joint terrorism task force. And sent a third of the FBI to help ICE. And gutted the National Security Council. And a drunk guy is in charge at the pentagon. And our intelligence allies probably won’t share intel with us. Because people couldn’t vote for a woman.
