Wasn't feeling very inspired with this one, but I can call something done without it being perfect, and that is 'Okay'. Not losing investment in art is calling something done even when it doesn't feel done.

I am not streaming art. I am playing a game on this stream with the hosts.

Saw a lack of leopard seal furry designs, so I decided to make one. Sans the leopard pattern because I don't think it looks good. So more like a fantasy leopard seal take, I guess.

I was scrolling while lying in bed and suddenly started wondering about something, and it has something to do with POC representation in the furry community. I will preface this by saying I am not a furry, and I am not active in the fandom either, despite drawing a lot of furry content. cont.

I was hoping for input from furries or POC in general. Say I experienced an artistic urge to experiment with furry designs that read more as POC, should I try? It this something that is considered sensitive in the fandom?

I forgot to clarify, not as my own Fursona, because I don't have Fursonas that represent me intrinsically. I mean designing a furry OC as an artistic representation, distinct and separate from me. Something I can draw because I like it, but lay no claim to for personalizing.

When I look at furry art, there is a distinct white-coding in a lot of the designs/characters that I can't quite explain. It also seems to me that there is staggeringly little in the way of POC coding that an outsider like me could read, save for the 1 or 2 lions I found with dark fur and dreads.

It is an observation that the furry fandom is predominantly white. I tried googling a bit and mostly found sparse Reddit threads and the like, recalling discourse about dreads on furry oc's, but I lacked context and input from POC, so to say. It was a lot of white people discussing.

Okay, the stream is over. Thanks to all who showed up. Thanks to all who decided to follow me here. Thanks to all who followed my friend. The character belongs to, and it's done. Maybe I will come back in the future on my friend's stream. It was fun.
