Been working on the mobile version of our #minecraft skin editor, and have a beta out for all to test and give feedback. Currently missing a few features, like gallery integration and layer support, but is getting close to being done. mobile-beta.needcoolershoes.com #mcdev #minecraftskins

Join us for our first ever Casual Jam. Casual Jams are a more frequently run skin jam, where there are no prizes, no judges and no winners. Just a theme and good vibes. To celebrate pride month, the first theme is pride! needcoolershoes.com/jam/casualjam-1 #minecraft #minecraftskins

Looking for feedback on a different layout for the new editor. Do people like it? Is there anything else about the layout that should be changed? beta.needcoolershoes.com #minecraft #minecraftskins #mcdev

We have added layer filters to the new editor! These filters are non-destructive, meaning they do not change the underlying pixels of the layer, allowing them to be easily changed. As well, buttons have gotten a visual overhaul thanks to @p4ncake4451.bsky.social. #minecraft #mcdev #minecraftskins

2025 in a nutshell…

Evokers always drop a totem of undying upon death. If they are always carrying one around, why don’t they ever think to equip it?

My local Aldi has already started selling hot cross buns for Easter. Truly is the most wonderful time of the year. Merry Easter everyone.

RIP AlexTestria, who passed from cancer earlier this week . I only talked to him a bit, but he was amazing at creating packs of incredible quality. Please check out BrickCraft if possible; it is amazingly designed. modrinth.com/resourcepack...

Working on the rewrite of the editor (take 2). This is what is there so far. UI is mostly a clone of the first new editor attempt, but uses @lit.dev for all web component goodness. Source code here: github.com/NeedCoolerShoes/editor #minecraft #mcdev #WebComponents

To try out the new model system, I made a resource pack that overlays the real-world time on the clock item. Works in 1.21.4. modrinth.com/resourcepack... #minecraft #resourcepack #mcdev

It took me far too long to implement this. In-game, UUIDs are stored as an array of four numbers. However, to actually use a UUID you need to have it in hexadecimal format. So I wrote a standard library function to convert it for zogl.in. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7aj9... #minecraft #datapack

Just released a new version of Asteroid, my non-hack utility client. It now supports 1.20.3. Asteroid is a fork of Meteor Client, but with many modules either removed,or available only when OP or in single player. modrinth.com/mod/asteroid #minecraft #mod
