The trump/kaine flag has been retired. I've now decided there might be something to that "states rights" argument. At least until the federal government returns to normal.

The trump flag, tim kaine edition

1st in line early voting in my Virginia county. My "D" votes will historically get swamped here, by a ratio of 4:1. But, hopefully the other voters in the state will carry us through.

Here in Abingdon, Virginia, we were too busy protesting to take many pictures. I think we had about 500 or so protesters. Here's one.

One month in, the Teeny flag still flies.

1,448 more days of the "Teeny Peeny" flag.

1,460 more days for this flag or others like it.

Latest batch of Honey/Lemon jerky. (Also made an equal amount of Pepper jerky, about 3 lbs.)

Got on the Wii Fit scale this morning as part of a New Year's resolution. I weighed 242.5 pounds and that's not all muscle. 😱 The Wii merrily told me, "That's Obese!". I aim to lose 32.5 of those pounds before 2026 comes around. I've got ⚒️ to do.

Rudy *always* finds a comfortable spot to lay down.

Rainy day, soup day.

Instant Pot again. This time 6lbs of shredded pork BBQ. I'm gonna get fat with this thing. 😃

One of my new hobbies is fishing. Apparently, it is closed until Spring, at least at Hungry Mother State Park.

Instant Pot Spaghetti. I'm loving this pot!

This will be the flag I fly for four years starting Jan 20th.

First recipe in my Instant pot: pork chops and gravy. Went swimmingly well.

My two trouble makers. Meet Sammy (left, 4 years old) and Rudy (right, 14 years old.)

Fishing today was cold and breezy. I really enjoyed the warm car ride back home.

Jerky in the shape of the state is was made in.

Three hobbies of mine are genetic genealogy, fishing and making jerky. All three are works in progress.
