Fingers crossed… sometime in the past few hours, someone read 3 pages of one of my books on KU. If they saw it on Threads, they’re likely sampling a bunch of books, so I’m hoping they come back for more.

Not sure if I'm doing better with my writing or just getting rejected by really polite editors ... The key, of course, is to get rejected twice and compare the rejections. Or, you know, sell the next one instead #weeknightwriters #writingcommunity

A3 Word count to start and then hours Although sometimes hours spent procrastinating turn into honest research and outlining #WeeknightWriters

A3 okay, now This one is multi-part! First, I missed last week’s chat because I had a ticket to see Ella Langley over in Newark Then Saturday I posted a Tik Tok of me at the St. Dominic’s Flea Market selling books, and that got over 3000 views, not after the event #WeeknightWriters

A5 Go on to the Libby app and request "A Bucket Full of Moonlight" by Christopher J. Burke. If enough people ask for it, they'll alert you when they purchase a copy of it. And then you can all enjoy it! #WeeknightWriters

Q5: What can we, the Weeknight Writers community, do in the next week to make your life a little more pleasant? #WeeknightWriters

A4 Not sure -- I've finally gotten to the point where my body will sleep later and I have to get up early again! Those early sunrises from early May to the end of July really get you going. But there's coffee. There's always coffee. #WeeknightWriters

Q4: What can you do in the next week to make your life a little more pleasant? #WeeknightWriters

A3 I have a story that will be reprinted in MetaStellar on 9/7 (they're on bsky) And last weekend, the extended family sliced, cooked, and jarred tomatoes. Well, we jarred tomato sauce. 8 bushels. It was a day, which ended in a meal #WeeknightWriters
