#agsky @agleaderAP Now that #harvest24 is complete it's time to start analysing the data. Overlaying Yield Map with @cropscan Protein Data looking for anomalies and wastage in a Decile 1 rainfall year. Particularly looking for any signs of excess N application. @KalimarAg

Doing some Standard Deviation Analysis on Yield Maps correlating yields to soil type in preparation for some VR maps and micro nutrient trials in 2025. @AgLeaderTech Yield Maps for the win👍 #agsky

How far can we go? Adding a Raven ECU to our Air Cart to control 5 granular products alongside 2 CNHI Mueller ECU’s controlling 3 Liquid products. 8 Channels total. We have high confidence that our @AgLeaderTech InCommand 1200 will do the job. They haven’t let us down yet.👍 #agsky

#agsky US farmers are complaining about the cost of John Deere tractors now. They’re going to be screaming if this goes through. 🫣

Today on the Reuters World News podcast: - Trump plans to impose 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico - Biden, Macron set to announce Israel-Hezbollah truce — Lebanese sources - Macy's delays results after finding employee hid millions in delivery expenses reut.rs/4fJjTpQ

#agsky I think most South Australian farmers would agree with this in 2024

Optimist: the cup is half full Pessimist: the cup is half empty Meteorologist: There is a 50% chance of cup, but no one agrees or understands what that means. (Half the time this happened before, at least one cup was full in somewhere in the room?)

Pushing hard on the Wheat before some rain. 450ha in the last 4 days. Considering we’ve only had 163mm of rain this year reaping 4t/ha here is very satisfying. We must be doing something right.🤔👍

Hoping that the BoM’s 2024 record of forecasting rain that doesn’t happen holds up for the remainder of the year. I’d hate to see this eventuate and ruin a good drought.👀😉

It’s been really good to see the number of people involved in Agriculture around the world appearing in the #BlueSky. Let’s hope that we can make this the area for friendly discussion & sharing that Twitter used to be before it degenerated into X. RIP #agtwitter long live #BlueSkyAg

Most people fail to realise the significant impact and benefit of Open Source. Without Richard Stallman, GNU software and the developments that flowed from there, the world would be a vastly different place. Through Open Source a lot of people have contributed for the benefit of all.

Roboflow raises $40M US for the continued development of open source tools and platforms for vision AI. This tech enables a lot of subject matter experts (e.g. farmers/weed scientists) to incorporate ML into their fields. There is a lot of value in open source tech.

Technology. Too often farmer are told something can’t be done, even when it is possible, just because a sales rep or tech support doesn’t know how or understand the potential.

#KalimarAg We regularly write about the Precision Ag tools we use with the aim of informing others about what’s available and also about what’s given us grief.

We like to chat about the Precision Ag tools we use on farm. Using #AgLeader AgFiniti to check the location of the other truck and return time. A huge help in harvest logistics.

Refugees from the Titanic 😂😂😂😂

A whiteboard from our Jan 2023 team retreat where I wrote down our goals, and the top one was “10k user signups.” We’re growing by 10k users every 10-15 minutes right now.

You are up to date.
