1/3 I've lately craved more complex builds, and I've enjoyed my previous forays into making 30MS Umamusume. This Rishetta is my first 30MS that isn't an Umamusume attempt, but it was inspired by one that happened across my YT feed. #gunpla #gunplacommunity #30minutesisters #30minutemissions

2/3 There are quite a few parts here, but mostly it's Rishetta, Sigma Sisters Paradox 1, 30MS Heavy Armor, 30MM Multi Booster, and 30MM Heavy Weapon 2. The armor is kitbashed from various leftover parts.

1/2 I think Zetas (and their ilk) are becoming my favorite MSes. Just a bit of colour-customizing on this kit, but also some new (to me) techniques. First is using graphite powder to do gun metal. Messy as hell, but works well. Still need to refine my approach. #gunpla #gundam #gunplacommunity

1/3 RX-78F00 with GRLSS Aka color correction hell. Seriously, the amount of color correcting on this kit was ridiculous, but I can't complain about the result. Despite this being a novelty buy, it looks fantastic in person and has incredible shelf presence. #gunpla #gundam #gunplacommunity

3/3 Decals are leftovers from my RG 2.0, and the details were picked out with Posca and AK markers. Up close, there are plenty of mistakes. But those are inevitable and I've long since stopped chasing perfection.

1/2 HG Jegan ECOAS Type This one took a while as I tried a new painting technique. Honestly, maybe I was too cowardly to really let it shine through, or too heavyhanded with the subsequent steps, but either way it looks more or less like I normally build. #gunpla #gundam #gunplacommunity

1/4 More uma shenanigans. Base kit is a 30MS Belveria-Berys. Kit-bashed parts include RG 2.0 Gramps, 30MM propellant tank, and a Demi Trainer gun. Some parts were fabricated (ahoge, parts of her hip thrusters) or modified (shoulder/ankle armor). #gunpla #gunplacommunity #umamusume

3/4 I had a pretty clear vision for this build, but getting colors right is always so difficult for my colorblind ass. Got to try out some new techniques, like scratch-building a few elements, and changing the dimensions of others.

This is also my second kit using Liquitex Matte Varnish. I really like it, but I'm still finding an optimal spray distance and pressure. Had to do some touch ups with a varnish pen.

1/2 HG Xavier's Gyan in Sol 1's livery. Ok, that's a lot. Sol 1 is the main enemy ace in Ace Combat 7. I was looking for something to do with this Gyan, and the news of Ace Combat 8 got me excited. That said it came out ok? More in the next post. #gunpla #gundam #acecombat7

1/2 A palate cleanser after a few more complicated builds, but also a chance to try out a new (to me) varnish. Liquitex Matte Varnish thinned 1:1 with Liquitex Airbrush Medium. Great finish and even greater value proposition. #gundam #gunpla #gunplacommunity

1/2 Man am I glad this build is over. I can't argue with the end results, but literal blood, sweat and tears in this one. Poor fitment and missing details are probably the biggest offenders here, but this really emphasizes how much more I enjoy HG kits. #gunpla #gundam #gunplacommunity

1/3 Plamo Loving Alien's 1/100 Amuro Use Jieda Or Jeda (or Jeddah). A fun build that made me miss Bandai's clever engineering. Still great value for something with menacing shelf-presence. #gunpla #gundam #gunplacommunity

2/3 Very nice articulation, though I wish the head/neck were more flexible. Also, though it's not visible in the pictures, I messed up the top coat on this one. Or rather, I'm using new top coat (Gaia Notes Ex- Flat Clear), and I'm still getting used to it.

Some isolated shots. The kanji on the shield are hand-painted. The first picture is the best attempt at her character art pose. Her S.H.I.R.A.O.K.I. Full Armor Unit uses parts from the Powereder Powe Arms and Valuable Pod Option sets, and MS Builder Propellant Tanks. Ms Nya is 3d printed.

Calibarn + Mirasoul Flight Unit WfM kits never miss (except for the c-clips on the VRR thrusters). I'm glad to finally have a Calibarn on my shelf. The MFU is from Anubis Design Studio, and I love how it bulks up the shelf presence. 1/2 #gunpla #gundam #witchfrommercury
