The damage from the way republicans have dealt with Iran and the economy, from their rampant corruption, undermining the rule of law, destroying our alliances and scientific advantages pales in comparison to the damage they have done by moving the U.S. from a democracy toward an autocracy.

The U.S. constitution says “The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged … on account of race”. But the Supreme Court held that a state can intentionally abridge voting rights on account of race if they can show they gained some partisan advantage.
