bokuto loves shopping at bulk grocery stores like costco. the only downside? he lives alone (well, in the msby dorms. and keiji said he'll move in with him after he graduates!). so what does he do? continue to buy things in bulk and share with his friends!

edamame in a 6 pound bag on sale? guess half is going to omi. rice in a bucket? shoyo could probably use some. the biggest bag of shrimp chips he's ever seen? obviously tsum-tsum is getting half! it gets to the point that his friends and teammates are getting random food each week. but they let him

they just have to wait a year, then keiji will help him calm his spending. (little do they know, keiji is going to introduce bo to farmer's markets and the cycle is going to shift between bulk products and small amounts of local produce)

one of the cool parts of having a whole room to yourself (at work) is that i can have so many things. i have tea, hot chocolate, snacks, and candy in my cabinets and all my coworkers don't know

suga's students don't believe him. no matter how many times he tells his class that he knows hinata and kageyama, two of the most renowned olympic volleyball players on the current roster, they just won't accept it. he's shown them pictures of the three of them in their karasuno uniforms (that's ai)

suga grabs his phone, sends a text, and tells the class, "you all better believe me after this" and in walk the monster duo. - when the two athletes leave, the students are even rowdier than they were at recess playing volleyball against them (yes, it was an epic 2 v 20 battle that suga reffed)

"so, suga-sensei, how much money did it cost to have those two come out here?" the signed photo of kageyama stares at him from its permanent spot on his desk - "you taught me well, go teach them too" suga groans and lets his head thump onto his desk. kids these days are something else.

of course the kids think he's still making stuff up, but the stories do help them better understand their feelings and motivate them to do better and be nicer or whatever the morals were for the story. it comes to a point where suga gets so tired of his kids still not believing him that he asks

the two guys for a huge favor. "so, you all remember my friends hinata and kageyama? the volleyball players?" "they're not your friends, they're celebrities" "suga-sensei, that's a parasocial relationship, you know?" "one, I'm amazed you know words thay big at your age. and two, we are friends!"

suga takes to telling the kids stories about the two. when a kid is giving up because something is hard, he tells the story of hinata not giving up just because he's short. when kids are fighting, he tells about kageyama and hinata learning to get along and play as teammates to help the whole team.

when a student starts secluding himself, he tells him about kageyama and how he learned to trust other people, and that it's ok to have feelings. he tells all kinds of stories to these kids from that one single season all those years ago (ok, like 4 or 5 years ago) hoping to inspire or help them.

the photos from Suga's graduation (photoshopped), or even their photos from their hangouts over the years (yeah, sure Suga-sensei, whatever) - the kids will not have it. he's about to reach his limit, and so are the kids thinking their teacher is lying about something so obscure and not giving up.

silly msby headcannon meian's daughters always call to tell him goodnight, even if they know he's on the team bus, and meian always sings them a lullaby. imagine the team's surprise bokuto's rookie season when the energetic spiker falls asleep near instantly when his captain starts singing.

and hinata sings a popular portuguese lullaby (bo's eyes start to get droopy, but he remains upright). nobody was able to even get close to meian's magic lullaby! - over the course of the season, meian continues to sing to his girls and puts his big puppy dog of a spiker to sleep with them.

it turns out that meian's soothing voice had the same effect as his father's when he sang to bokuto as a baby. and by some coincidence, he always sang the exact same songs his father did. the team turns it into a competition to see if they can also make bo sleepy with a lullaby years later.

sakusa sits out, so does tomas and barnes. inunaki sings some song from a movie called "shark boy and lava girl" that nobody else on the team has ever heard of (bo laughs too hard at the poor english pronunciation to fall asleep), atsumu sings a common lullaby from hyogo (bo yawns but stays awake),

so my mom had a serious back surgery last monday (she's doing a lot better) but that means my sister and i have to take some days off to help. today was my turn and while mom napped i got to bake! i made sweet potato peanut butter cup cookies and a pumpkin chai loaf with cream cheese frosting

i keep seeing videos of yoshinobu yamamoto (dodgers pitcher) writing in a notebook midgame and i was like why is that so familiar... dude. i was comparing him to kageyama and his volleyball journal

Xie Lianโ€™s father is getting more and more insistent that he finds a wife. His mother is getting anxious over how many unsuccessful blind dates he goes on, matching him with someone new almost every weekend. XL canโ€™t really describe why heโ€™s so disinterested, he just likes his routine and his catโ€“

it's my birthday and i made myself a matcha with my matcha powder from japan, a chai with the concentrate from seattle,my friend bought me a matcha, my other friend made me brownies, and i also made cupcakes... it's barely 10am but I've had so much sugar lol. I'm having a blast

there's a store right by my work that sells bags of ice...my work water cooler dispenses cool water, but it'll go room temp even in my special cups to keep stuff cold...what if for my birthday i bought myself a little cooler to put ice in so i could have cold drinks all day throughout the week?

kuroo and kenma both have hall passes and they both are totally accepting of that! they know that if hinata ever offers, kenma can do whatever he wants if he wants to. they know that if daichi (and that's a strong if) ever gave kuroo a chance he would go running and tell kenma everything after

a mom i used to babysit for reached out to me to ask me to tutor her son. i knew i was going to say yes, but asked what he needes help with since he's very young. she says his teacher says he's shutting down during math and both her and mom are concerned for him. obviously i said i'd tutor him.

I'm not in it for the money (lord knows i could use it and that i deserve a lot more than I'm paid at work). i want to help these kids grow and get better and money can be a huge barrier! if i can help kids and make a little extra then that's what i'll do.

i said $50 weekly. i know that's selling me real short, that my school district pays me near that hourly for my job, but it feels wrong charging individual people that much! i was telling my mom how I'll start next week and all that, and she immediately asks how much I'd be getting paid.

i told her and she got really mad at me saying I'm not respecting myself! and it's not that i know i could charge WAY more and it could be justified (2 teaching credentials, private one on one tutor, me supplying all materials, etc), but that's not why i teach who i teach.

that's literally my job! he's in one of my grade levels i currently work with, he is showing behaviors similar to students i work with every day, i already know the kid and family, and they live 5 minutes from me! the mom asked how much it would cost for 2 days a week, for maybe 30 min to an hour.
