A huge thank you to everyone who joined us last week to welcome our new President & CEO Tracy Sturdivant! To those who couldn't make it, you were deeply missed. It was an evening full of joy and energy, bringing together movement leaders, friends, grantee partners, and supporters of the Foundation.

Today is #DisabledWomensEqualPayDay, representing the significant pay gap of disabled women compared to non-disabled male counterparts. Disabled women are often shut out of employment due to discrimination and inaccessibility, while facing cuts to social services—made worse by the current admin.

On #IndigenousPeoplesDay, honoring Wilma Mankiller, Cherokee activist, social worker, and early member of our board. In 1985, she became the first woman to be Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation, and received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1998 for fighting for rights of all Americans.

#LatinaEqualPayDay represents one of the widest wage gaps, as Latinas earn far less than their white, non-Hispanic male counterparts. Ongoing and heightened attacks on the immigrant community only exacerbate pay disparities for Latina workers. #Trabajadoras

We stand with Jane Doe & survivors of gender-based violence. Ms. Foundation was one of the first to fund sexual-assault hotlines & domestic violence shelters in the '70s—violence prevention is core to our work. Our grantee partners are creating a just world, free from sexual assault & GBV.

Reminders this #HispanicHeritageMonth, and every month. Borders are imaginary—human rights are real! Our grantee partners are uplifting Latine voices and fighting for immigrant justice, and we're proud to fund and expand their essential work. 🖼️ by alinakiliwa on IG

#HispanicHeritageMonth spotlights essential contributions of Latine & Hispanic communities. Dolores Huerta reminds us: collective action builds collective power🤝 This year, she came forward as an SA survivor, in hopes of empowering others with similar experiences. Our love for her is unwavering.

#NHPIWomensEqualPayDay recognizes the significant and persistent pay disparity between Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander women and their white male counterparts. The Trump administration has made it more difficult to break down wage gaps by ethnicity—making them harder to address.

"Every single issue is a women's issue." 👏👏👏 Today begins a new chapter for Ms. Foundation, as Tracy Sturdivant officially joins us as President & CEO. Welcome, Tracy! We couldn't be more excited for what's ahead under her leadership. 🎤 Tracy at our 2026 Women of Vision Awards

Happy #DaisyChainFields to all who celebrate! 🌼🫶 We couldn't be more thrilled that Olivia Rodrigo's festival is supporting our grantee partners, FreeFrom & National Women's Law Center. Learn about their essential work advancing and advocating for women and girls! 🩷

#WomensEqualityDay marks the adoption of the 19th Amendment, guaranteeing the right to vote regardless of sex. Racist legislation continued to disenfranchise voters of color, particularly women, for decades. To this day, voter suppression silences voices. Remembering the words of Coretta Scott King.

Happy birthday to Marsha "Pay It No Mind" Johnson! Marsha was a legendary activist and one of the most prominent leaders of the LGBTQ+ rights movement of the '60s and '70s. For over 50 years, we've been fighting to realize her dreams: liberation and safety for ALL of us. ❤️🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

On Tuesday, we headed to Martha’s Vineyard for our annual Ms. on Martha’s event! We said goodbye to former President & CEO Teresa C. Younger, and welcomed incoming President & CEO Tracy Sturdivant, who was joined in conversation by the incomparable Kimberlé Crenshaw. Thank you to all who attended!

@nwlc.org has a long history supporting women's & LGBTQIA+ rights, fighting for abortion & gender-affirming care, workplace justice, and more. We celebrated President & CEO Fatima Goss Graves at the 2026 Women of Vision Awards, where she showcased the organization's work to advance gender equity.

Dorothy Height led the National Council of Negro Women for 40 years. Her participation in the Big Six, the group of orgs that coordinated 1963's March on Washington, is often overlooked due to her gender. Acknowledging her contributions to movements for civil rights & gender liberation! #BlackAugust

#BlackWomensEqualPayDay recognizes how Black women are underpaid and undervalued—Black women must work nearly 7 more months than their white, male counterparts to earn the same wage. Do your part: support women's equal pay and safe workplaces, and support Black women-owned businesses.

Feminist organizer Carol Hanisch championed collective power through collective action in her 1969 essay “The Personal is Political.” 50+ years later, this idea is still so relevant. Ms. Foundation continues to fight for personal issues alongside our grantee partners to build our collective power.

This #DisabilityPrideMonth, we remember the words of Stacey Park Milbern. Stacey was a queer, disabled woman of color who fought for disability justice while existing at the intersection of several underserved identities. Her wisdom is timeless. ❤️

The #DobbsDecision 4 years ago caused a seismic shift in reproductive healthcare access. For Flory Wilson, it was "a real pivot point" in her career: she established Reproductive & Maternal Health Compass, a grantee partner that helps employers improve reproductive and maternal healthcare benefits.
