Kauai now has a serious problem from Cat 2/Lowell a couple of wks. ago. Animal shelter there has about 150 dogs/over 200 cats. Asking people 2 take TWO pets! If U can send ANY kind of help/support it would B a HUGE blessing 4 that little island that is STILL N dire straits.

So after a lifetime of having cats, I am, 4 the first time without & it feels strange & sad. Still grieving my girl's loss last week Found her adoption papers, I was a little off on her age, she passed at 21 years/7 months. Quite a rarity, I'm sure but a testimony 2 a good life, I have no doubt.

While Netanyahu fires off that the US is complacent in THEIR war; & the Ukraine whines we aren't doing "enough" - it's nice that I can grab a kitty for comfort, peace & some tranquilty over a situation NONE of us can fix...KUDOS this day 2 our brave Americans who fought 4 our country in all wars.

In a world that is fraught with human dissension...Upset & angst? Isn't it truly WONDERFUL 2 feel the beauty, grace & wonder & peace, of owning a cat? Being loved unconditionally? The joy they give is unmeasurable but felt with the heart. At least? It is for me...
