Pace Stephen Miller. nothing about the extent of one's U.S. lineage makes one person born in U.S. inherently more "qualified to carry on or capable of executing the inheritance of this country" than another person born here. "Executing the inheritance" is a political not a genealogical matter.

I was correct. Kean reports that his absence was due to “depression” after going for “testing.” NJ mental health professional here. While he has my empathy, he is *not* being fully transparent. Only a major event/complications would require a hospitalization & 4 month leave. 1/3

Inadvertently or not, Tom Kean Jr.’s father disclosed that he’s been in a hospital or facility. And won’t be “out” for 2-3 weeks. (If true, & my gut is correct, add at least 4-6 weeks post-discharge for any return date.) He needs to resign. For his constituents & for himself.

You could argue that he’s entitled to a certain level of privacy but, just as an FYI, we practice under the “least-restrictive level of care” model. He would only be hospitalized if he was a danger to himself or others or has a co-occurring disorder (i.e., substance abuse). 2/3

Let it not be lost that Kean’s hospitalization could cost $10’s to $100’s of thousands of dollars. Not to mention ongoing costs of medications & outpatient treatment. The very same coverage denied to millions of Americans with his votes. And that’s where my empathy ends. 3/3
