Grampy is up to his elbows in grease, we've confirmed that the engine is not seized, we aren't quite at the point of calling divorce lawyers, so I guess we'll call it a win. Next step, order a new starter.

Car still won't start. Apparently letting it sit in the driveway to think about it's behavior doesn't work. I now know where all the fuses and relays are (although I still don't know the difference between fuses and relays) and they are not the problem. When do the Chinese EVs arrive?

We killed the battery. Can't get it into neutral to push it back. Youngest son to the rescue with his portable car charger. Don't leave home without it.

My job is to "try it again" on command while Grampy tinkers. So far, no luck. Now we need to push it further back in the driveway. (Remember Grampy's accident? Still waiting for shoulder surgery.) No worries. He has a farm jack. A tow without a tow truck. Hooking it up now.

My car won't start. Not even a che, che, che. Nothing. Nada. Grampy has watched all the YouTube videos and is trying to figure it out. Should be a fun weekend. Wish us luck.
