y'all aren't gonna believe this, but being told I'm gonna be put in a gas chamber did not convince me that voting for anti-trans democrats is the right move
part of me wants to have a healthy relationship with working out and lifting weights but part of me is like a lot of fucked up stuff happened in those spaces maybe it's not worth the anguish
like objectively if I had a good relationship with working out that would be a good thing but maybe putting pressure on myself to push through the trauma isn't such a good thing
trans people are already compromising in this election by simply asking that our existing rights not be on the chopping block
what dems are doing now is deciding whether they actually need to negotiate with us at all
so telling us to vote to keep a spot in the tent is pretty fucking condescending

I like to tell myself I am not burned out because I just keep going but if I find myself completely unable to be productive the moment being productive isn't mandatory that's probably not a good sign huh
like sure I just keep going, but everything will fall apart without that work and I know deep down I get lots of little tasks done during that time because if I wait til after work I simply will not have the energy
The worst part about democrats bailing on trans rights is that cis people don't understand these aren't new things we're asking for it's shit we already had. We're being robbed of rights we've had for decades.
